1 SHKP s Century Link with practical design and layouts plus all-inclusive service catered for young families Hong Kong, 21 November 2016: Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP) will soon hand over residential units in Phase 1 of Century Link Development (Century Link) in Tung Chung, the largest estate of SHKP being handed over in recent years, to new owners. Century Link has ingenious features designed to maximize storage space for uncluttered homes, such as a recess behind the main entrance in most residential units to accommodate a built-in cabinet. The clubhouse 1 is replete with modern facilities and residents will be able to unwind in the Sky Link 4 with sweeping views of the sea and planes taking off and landing 2. In keeping with its belief in Building Homes with Heart, SHKP staff have inspected each residential unit at least three times in the last six months to ensure it is ready to be handed over. Century Link owners will also benefit from SHKP s three-year guarantee showing its confidence in the premium quality. Layouts designed for built-in cabinets Century Link Project Director Ringo Chu said: Century Link has been meticulously planned in its design, amenities and estate services. Towers adopt glass facades that ensure the Development s prominence as a distinctive, modern landmark in Tung Chung. The vision windows in all residential units are adopted insulated glass unit (IGU) glazing, enhancing elements for comfortable living. Most of the residential units come with a practical recess behind the front door for a storage cabinet. The Development has various layouts including one bedroom with a study room, which can be used as a vanity corner or closet for added flexibility. Hotel-style details in and out The open kitchens in Century Link are designed for convenience. Residents can cover the faucet and sink with a special plate made of materials identical to the surface of worktop to extend the work space. The kitchen cabinets have contrasting colours and are made of deep mirror polished stainless steel in trendy style. Ceiling and floor lighting are among the elements in the kitchens that create a subdued atmosphere like a top hotel. The ambience in common corridors follows the hotel setting with exquisite wallpaper and veneers made of imitated shells to embellish floor number signs. Master bathrooms have mirror cabinets with decorative lighting on gold ornamental glass with a special motif, complemented by counters of Italian grigio tequila marble. Italian blue galaxy marble in guest bathrooms evokes a shimmering sky for a modern, elegant feel. Healthy food and double-boiled soup for residents 3 Residents who like to cook but are too busy will be able to order nutritious food packs and MSG-free soup from the clubhouse restaurants 1, 3. Young families that seldom cook can get clubhouse food delivered. A special mobile phone app will be introduced for residents to order meals, book clubhouse facilities or cleaning and 1
2 maintenance services, meaning that residents do not have to go through management office to save time. The app additionally features one-stop online payment for total convenience. Handy smartphone app to arrange handover There is also a special, user-friendly smartphone app to let new Century Link owners book appointments for taking possession, and owners planning to come by car can reserve parking with their plate numbers. If owners request any work in the unit after handover for handling by a cross-department team, the app can additionally provide progress updates with a notification when the work is done. Appealing Sky Link with sea breezes and ocean view 1,2,4 Clubhouse facilities and landscaped areas at the Century Link Development cover about 190,000 square feet, with Club Century 4 on the podiums of Towers 2 and 6 and Sky Link 4 in the top two floors of Tower 2 linked by a cascade of chandeliers. Residents can take in ocean views or watch planes taking off and landing 2 from Sky Link 4, and there is an over-20-foot marble bar table for more than ten patrons, overlooking the sea. Regular catering will be available at the restaurant which is connected to an outdoor patio for drinks and catching up with friends in stylish glowin-the-dark chairs, or around a barbeque and mini jacuzzi in the sea breeze. Approximately-4,800-square-foot gym with full modern equipment 1 The 24-hour gym is like a professional fitness centre 1 covering almost 4,800 square feet, with a boxing ring near the entrance to impress visitors. Boxing has become trendy lately, so there will be instructors giving lessons in the gym during the holidays 3. Stationary bikes have screens showing different bike rides for training, including races against cyclists in other parts of the world by Internet for something special. A separate set of bikes in front of a big screen will let residents compete in an exciting race. The gym also features advanced multi-purpose machines for running, stair-stepping, spacewalking and cycling, plus an inclined treadmill for all-round workouts suiting every exercise need. The Development also has two approximately-2-metre-long outdoor pools 1, an approximately-20-metre-long indoor pool 1 and two jacuzzis 1, along with changing room facilities including a steam room, sauna and swimsuit water extractor for a welcoming clubhouse setting.
