2 Gol d s m i t h chartered architects Goldsmith Architects is a new practice specialising in space planning and arc h i t e c t u re. Set up by Robert Goldsmith with over twelve years experience pro d u c i n g innovative and contemporary solutions; he has been joined by Sebastian Camisuli with more than ten years i n t e rnational experience developing state of the art design that is e n v i ronmentally sensitive. With particular expertise in the health and fitness sector together with residential and office re f u r b i s h m e n t s and new build, Goldsmith Arc h i t e c t s o ffer a professional service with a hands on appro a c h. Having seen rapid growth in demand for their range of services, traditional drawing board skills are complemented by high-end CAD systems and c o m m u n i c a t i o n links enabling clients and consultants to remain close to their pro j e c t s.
3 Hampstead Group Practice 750 m 2 health centre re f u r b i s h m e n t A large ground floor within the Royal F ree Hospital was fully re f u r b i s h e d into a primary healthcare facility. This project led to a series of health centres built with the same p a rtnering arrangement of developer/client, architect and c o n t r a c t o r. 4 Powell Spencer Retained facade with 950 m 2 of new build off i c e F u t u re proofing a large traditional off i c e space above shops in North London. Phase 1 is a refurbishment following g round floor expansion into an adjacent shop. Phase 2 is more substantial, re l o c a t i n g the main entrance and extending all floors to the rear for a new wheelchair accessible circulation strategy and p roviding generous natural ventilation t h roughout the year.
