The result is a great success! The distinctive character of the old industrial setting, which is ideal for in-house fairs and trade fairs, exhibitions and presentations, was maintained. The historical robust steel beams were left in their original state, and combined with the foreman s office it lends a very special charm to this industrial setting. The industrial floor was redesigned and given a glossy seal. The hall with 8,000 sqm of event space can be divided into four sections.

Its proximity to the Halle am Wasserturm and the Alte Schmiedehallen means it can be used as a venue for congresses, trade fairs, conferences, annual kick-off events and car and lorry presentations. The focus during the conversation of this historic hall from the late 1920s is on maintaining the old supporting structure as well as its original charm. Both structures were sandblasted on the outside in 2012, and the refurbishment of the windows meant that the hall now has daylight. This venue is particularly suitable for smaller company events as well as for private events. Many couples have already had their wedding in this industrial and museum-like setting. A mobile indoor crane can divide the venue into two sections with a firmly installed curtain in between.

Truss height 8.75 m F rom 1950, metal blocks had been smouldered here at 1000 degrees; now this 400 sqm indoor area and the spacious outdoor area (also 400 sqm) offers many different possible uses, including weddings, balls, private anniversaries and corporate events. Its immediate vicinity to the Altes Kesselhaus means that the Altes Schwimmbad can be used for receptions, after-show parties or as a breakout area. The venue with the preserved basic structure of a swimming pool is also stunning on its own. It offers plenty of room for weddings, birthdays or anniversaries.
