2 places become experiences Cafe Moskau, one of the seven international restaurants to be built based on Josef Strauß s designs as part of a town-planning competition. It formed the centre of the first socialist residential complex on Karl-Marx-Alle, which was still called Stalinallee until The prestigious building was to symbolise the fraternal relations between the GDR and the Soviet Union and provide insights into Russia s culinary and cultural customs. Cafe Moskau is a multi-purpose meeting and events venue with 4,000 sqm of function space and offers stateof-the-art infrastructure in Berlin s architectural landmark. Over three levels it features a total of 17 rooms both for small functions and large events with up to 2,400 guests. 2

5 The MOSKAU Hall is the largest room at Cafe Moskau. It is located on the first floor, directly above the ALMATY Hall, and has floor-to-ceiling windows facing Karl-Marx-Allee and the Kino International. Capacities and facts 446 sqm event space 433 people in row seating 800 people at a reception Curtain system installed for blacking-out. The space can be devided into two rooms. The MOSKAU Hall is the core of Cafe Moskau and is ideal for receptions, trade fairs and conferences. In the evening it often opening night parties and galas. 6

6 Large, open foyers lead to Cafe Moskau s main attractions: The 382 sqm ALMATY hall on the ground floor has direct access to the interior courtyard terrace and looks out onto Karl-Marx-Allee and the Kino International. 7 ASGABAT is the third largest room at Cafe Moskau. It is located on the ground floor and has floor-to-ceiling windows, with direct access to the Rose garden. Capacities and facts 160 sqm event space 141 people in row seating 320 people at a reception Curtain system installed for blacking-out The space can be converted into two rooms The ASGABAT Room is booked for conferences and conventions by day as one large room or split into two approximately 80 sqm rooms, depending on requirements. At night, it is often used as a lounge or bar area. 8

It provides direct access to the ASGABAT, JEREWAN and DUSCHANBE rooms.
