No: PART II TERMS & CONDITIONS RESIDENT SEASON PARKING WILL BE ISSUED TO OWNERS/RESIDENTS STRICTLY BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: For Owner occupiers: o Vehicle Log Card indicating the name of the car owner which must tally with the name registered on the Strata Roll; OR o For company registered vehicles, the vehicle log card and a letter from the company confirming that the owner-occupier is a Director or employee of the company For Tenants o A copy of valid Tenancy Agreement signed with the owner as recorded in the strata roll, indicating the name of the occupant. If the tenancy is to a company, the occupant must also be named in the tenancy agreement. If the occupant is not named, a copy of the occupant s FIN card showing the name of the employer which will be the company which is signed in the agreement. o Vehicle Log Card indicating the name of the car owner which must tally with the name on the Tenancy Agreement o In the case of company registered vehicles, the company would be the same as that signed the tenancy agreement. A copy of the occupant s FIN card will also be required if applicable. For Rented Cars o Owners / Tenants must produce a receipt from the car rental company indicating the name of the hirer and the period of rental. Reselling of Resident Season Parking to outsiders is illegal and flouters will be referred to the police. 2 P a g e
3 General Terms and Conditions for application of Car Park Label: a. The development is provided with an electronic pricing system. (EPS System). Users must register their vehicle registration number and in-vehicle unit (IU) number and obtain car park permit from the Management Office for their motor vehicles parked in the development. Only registered vehicles with valid car park labels are allowed to park at The Sail at Marina Bay. b. Application for car park label should be accompanied by a photocopy of the logbook for verification or any document that certifies ownership for the purpose of issuing a car park label. For company cars, a letter of authorization from the company must be produced. Approval of application shall be at the sole discretion of the Management. c. Residents are reminded to update their addresses in the vehicle log card before the collection date. d. Each application (for first car and motorcycle only) is subject to a monthly administrative fee of S$ and S$32.10 respectively. (Inclusive of GST) e. Residents may apply for additional car park label with a monthly administrative fee of S$ (inclusive of GST) on a first come first served basis subject to clause (b) and availability of the car park lots. The Management reserves the right to withdraw the additional car park label once the quota for the first car is reached. f. Car park label shall only be issued to resident or tenant (authorized by owner) resides at The Sail at Marina Bay g. Car park label must be prominently displayed on the front windscreen of the vehicle for easy identification by security personnel. The Managements representative (i.e. Managing Agent, Security Guards) will disallow vehicles with invalid car park labels to park at the car park of The Sail at Marina Bay. h. For any change in vehicle/iu, the user must reapply from the Management and forward a copy of the vehicle log card to the Management Office. i. Any loss or damage of car park label must be reported to the Management. An amount of S$21.40 (inclusive of GST) will be imposed for the replacement of car park label due to loss or damage. j. The car park label is the property of The Sail at Marina Bay and must be returned to the Management when owner sells or rents the unit and also when tenant leaves the unit upon/before the expiry date of the tenancy. k. Parking areas are not to be used for recreation, storage (with the exception of storage installed by the Management Corporation) or repair works by users. l. Undertaking of repairs or overhauls to vehicles is not allowed in the common property and car park area except in the case of the breakdown of the vehicle. m. For safety reason, the speed limit of 10km/h within the development must be strictly followed. n. Residents are to inform their guests and visitors that hourly charge will be imposed and it will be deducted through the EPS car park system. Guests and visitors can only park on 4 th level and above. (white lots) o. Residents shall be responsible for the conduct of their guests / visitors parking at The Sail at Marina Bay. They shall ensure that their visitors / guests abide by the rules and regulations governing car parking and any other rules made thereon. p. Residents or their visitors shall not park their vehicles in the No Parking area, handicap lots, driveways, fire hydrants, fire engine access route etc. q. Vehicles parked in non-designated locations or straddling between two car park lots will be wheel-clamed. An administrative/release fee of S$ will be charged for unclamping. r. Heavy commercial vehicles are not allowed within the development. s. All vehicles parked at The Sail at marina Bay are at the owners risk. The Management shall not be responsible / liable for any theft, loss, damage, and action proceeding claims, suits or other misdemeanor caused to vehicles and / or their contents. t.
