1 Associate Membership The benefits of Associate Membership include: Free RIBA Journal Access to RIBANet online forum Free use of the RIBA Information Centre Brand new software application designed to streamline your job search Access to members only area of Access to RIBA Talking Heads and RIBA Perspectives Informative RIBA bulletins and newsletters Academic and professional guidance Blogging at the RIBA Knowledge Communities Discounted lectures and events Exclusive member discounts from RIBA business partners Who can join The RIBA Associate Member category is for individuals who have the following qualifications and experience: has passed RIBA recognised Parts 1 and 2 examinations in architecture (or an examination approved by Council as providing exemption) or has been awarded an architectural qualification consisting of a minimum of five years of academic study which is listed in the European Union Directive (2005/36/EC) Students studying Part 1 and 2 should apply for RIBA Student Membership If you currently a Student Member, and have now passed Part 2, you can upgrade to Associate Membership by completing this form. How to apply Please complete the attached application form in block capitals and ink and return it to the RIBA with the appropriate documentation. Next steps by the RIBA Your name will be put forward for election by the Membership Admissions Committee. This will occur within 4 weeks of your application being received. New Associate Members will then receive a welcome pack within three weeks of admission. The pack includes your membership card, information about RIBA resources and full details of your membership benefits.
