1 ENDU No. Date: July 17, 27 TO CONTRACT DOCUENTS ENTTLED: Advertisement Date: June 26, 27 at Columbia, issouri 652 Project Number: CP81 Prepared for: Consultants: The Curators of the University of issouri Simon Oswald Associates, nc dba SOA 28 Woodard Drive, Suite 3 (573) Drawings and Specifications for the above referenced project and the work covered thereby are herein modified as follows, and except as set forth herein, otherwise remain unchanged and in full force and effect: GENERAL: 1) Substitution Request Question: Can a 150 HP fire pump be substituted for a 5 HP fire pump? a) Response: A 150 HP fire pump would require a change in the transformer, electrical feed and switch gear, therefore the requested increase in the fire pump horsepower will not be accepted. PROJECT ANUAL: 1) 1.E Special Conditions: a) Paragraph 2. SPECAL SCHEDULNG REQUREENTS. Revise subparagraph b. to read as follows: Health Sciences Library (Lottes) Chilled Water Shutdown: The Contractor shall perform the shutdown and relocation of the chilled water pump from HLS 142 to the existing mechanical room HSL 144 between November 27 and ebruary 28. The shutdown shall occur when the forecasted temperatures are below 50 degrees for duration of the shutdown and shall be coordinated with the Owner s Representative. Once the Contractor has started the chilled water shutdown, work must progress continuously during normal working hours until the shutdown is complete. The chilled water shutdown is anticipated to take no more than seven (7) calendar days to complete during normal working hours and no overtime work is required during this period. b) Paragraph 23. BULDNG SYE COSSONNG. Revise subparagraph b. to read as follows: The contractor shall designate a competent person, which can be the superintendent or Project anager, to act as the contractor s commissioning coordinator. The commissioning coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, conducting and verifying all commissioning activities required by the commissioning plan and ensuring all building systems are complete, operable and ready for use by the Owner. At a minimum, building ventilation systems, chilled/hot water generation systems, hydronic distribution systems, power distributions systems and fire detection and alarm systems, as applicable. The Contractor shall refer to the requirements in the Commissioning Plan.
