Public Works - Roads Division: Please note the minor change on the bid form regarding the Roads division locations, the area formally called Storage has been revised to Truck Bay. The Roads Division currently has Rice s Inc. as their service provider, to which they pay $40 per month for service. Civic Center: An issue was reported that a couple of years ago, a chef let the kitchen and concession areas get dirty. This lead to a roach issue which is now under control, aside from a stray roach, or mouse. Ants are reported to be an issue in the offices which are treated on an as-needed basis. There are 5 concession stands and a catering kitchen, all of which are treated monthly. The Civic Center currently has Home Paramount as their service providers, to which they pay $100 per month for service. 1

2 Airport: The current service provider handles the entire second floor, first floor, and car rental areas. It takes the current service provider about an hour to an hour and a half to complete each month s treatment. Main issues reported are mice and waterbugs. The current service provider is supposed to do a perimeter treatment, but nothing exterior. Please see the below attachment for a map of the Airport location. The Airport currently has Home Paramount as their service providers, to which they pay $34 per month for service. GOB: The current service provider sprays in the bathrooms and kitchens. Current service provider services the GOB, Public Safety, and Courts buildings all at once, which typically takes about 3 hours between all locations. The current vendor, in their monthly spraying service, typically starts on a Thursday around 3 PM at the Sheriff s office, and then goes to the Courts, and then the GOB. There are 12 bathrooms and 23 refrigerators in the GOB. Exterior treatments are done every month in the summer. The whole perimeter is sprayed. There is the occasional mouse but no serious issue. The Government Office Building has Home Paramount as their service provider, to which they pay $46 per month for service. Courts: There are 8 total bathrooms in the Courts buildings. The four judge s chambers need to be treated, plus one kitchen in the staff area and a shared kitchen. The Courts have Home Paramount as their service provider, to which they pay $61 per month for service at both the Old Courthouse and the New Courthouse. Sheriff: Any service provider will need an escort when spraying in WBI. Occasional mice issues (only one or two, here or there) were reported as being a problem in WBI and the Dispatch areas in the Fall and Winter seasons. There are 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchen areas. The Sheriff s Office currently has Home Paramount as their service provider, to which they pay $29 per month for service. Corrections: The entire prison and administration wing is treated. Every cell and day room is treated monthly. 2

3 Typically, the current pest control company comes on a Tuesday, at 8:00 AM. Their process typically takes 3-4 hours to complete. There were some mice issues reported, however these had been solved by putting out traps and bait. The Kitchen is done at night after it is shut down for the day, at approximately 7:00 PM. This is done twice per month, but only takes less than an hour. Roaches are the main issue in the kitchen. The issue occasionally spikes, but is monitored by the Kitchen staff and callbacks are sometimes made. The tunnels underneath the cell blocks are sprayed quarterly. A log is kept when pest issues are reported. Background checks will be needed for the entire pest control crew, and the crew will be escorted at all times. There is no restriction on using catch traps, baiting, and tracking in the administrative wing, but there can be none of these items in the jail. Please note the checklist that is used by Critter Getters and the Department of Corrections for their monthly visits (see pages 4-6) The Department of Corrections currently has Critter Getters as their service provider, to which they pay $300 per month for service.
