21 Students Global Relocation Comillas Pontifical University and Students Global Relocation, now called SGR, have reached an agreement to provide establishment and hosting services in Madrid to all University students. To do so, SGR will provide assistance and information to all students at the Comillas Pontifical University. The never-ending difficulty of settling in a new city inspired the relationship between SGR and the Comillas Pontifical University. Through this collaboration, university students have access to a range of exclusive services. In order to assist these students, SGR created this website where you will find information about services and packs that will uniquely benefit students of the Comillas Pontifical University. There are numerous means of communication to ensure that you are assisted in the best way possible. You will also find information about life in Madrid, quality of life, tourism, transportation, cost of living, and much more. Services & Packs On one hand, Students Global Relocation will offer free services to students of the Comillas Pontifical University, assisting in locating housing, solving any issues in this matter, and providing a complimentary list of accommodation options so that Comillas Pontifical University students can directly manage their own accommodation. In addition to the free services provided by SGR, we provide students a range of packs and services that will successfully fulfill all the formalities related to mobility services and establishment in Madrid. The main objective of these packs and services is to prevent any incidents that may arise when University Students settle in Madrid. This way, you will have a smooth transition when you establish yourself in your new destination.

22 Short-Term Accommodation Pack We offer a pack of services for accommodation management and reservation for those staying for less than two months. This is ideal for University students who come to take a summer course or the like for less than two months. The Short Stay service pack includes the following: o o o o Information pack about life in Madrid Temporary accommodation proposal Check-in coordination Follow-up during the stay Price: 60,00 Long-Term Accommodation Pack We are offering a pack of services for accommodation management for students staying between one semester to a full academic year. The main objective is to provide a service that will make this a less worrisome experience for students and their respective families. The Long Stay service pack includes the following: o Assessment form in order to analyze the student requirements. o Accommodation Proposal (studio, apartment, shared apartment, hall, family hosting, etc.) o Management / Review of lease agreement document. o Check-in coordination o Follow-up during the stay. 23 Independent Services SGR is able to provide a range of individual services, all of which are complementary to the service packs that we have explained in this website. These individual services aim to provide extra value to the service packs. However, these services can be serviced without requesting any of the service packs, which greatly reduces cost and can tailor to each student s needs. SGR individual services provided to students at the Comillas Pontifical University are: Pick-up service (groups from 4 members) 35,00 Transportation Card Management 32,00 Orientation Tour 35,00 Telecomunications Management 20,00 Accommodation with a Family Many international students at Comillas stay in Spanish family homes that lodge students. Madrid Transportation: Buses 44 and 12 stop in front of the home and the subway stop is Islas Filipinas, which is a 3 minute walk. Room description: It can be accessed through a sliding door, which separates the bedroom and bathroom for the student. The room has a 90 bed, two large closets, shelves, and a desk window.

25 Option 2: Location: c / Joaquin Maria Lopez, number 41 DUPLICATE, 4th floor, door D Transportation: Buses 44 and 12 stop in front of the home and the subway stop is Islas Filipinas, which is a 3 minute walk away. Room description: The room is 15 m2, with a window, large bookcase, desk and closet. Newly-renovated apartment.

26 Option 3: Location: c / Joaquin Maria Lopez, number 41 DUPLICATE, 4th floor, door D Transportation: Metro line 7 Avenida de la Ilustración and line 9 Cardenal Herrera Oria Bus 133 stops in front of El Corte Inglès. It is 20 minutes away from Comillas. Available Buses: 132, 83, 133, 124, 127, 128 and 67. Room description: There are two bedrooms: A very large double with two closets, shelves, two study tables, two chairs for each student, each with a study lamp, two laundry baskets. Another single with a wardrobe, study table, lamp, shelving, and laundry basket

27 Option 4: Location: Avda Pablo Iglesias n39-6 A. Transportation: The nearest subway station is Guzman. There are four routes and several bus lines. It is surrounded by greenery and close to the Santander park facilities. Room description: It contains two bedrooms: It is a ground-floor room with a pull-out bed of 105 cm, desk, wardrobe, 3 doors and shelves with drawers. It is very bright because it has access to the terrace. The second bedroom is upstairs, has a pull-out bed 105 cm, large desk, sofa and large closet. It is a very spacious room with a high ceiling and large window above.

28 Option 5: Location: Pza. de los Mostenses 5, 2º B Transportation: The nearest subway station is Plaza de España. There are several bus lines. The Royal Palace is 20 minutes walking distance from Comillas. Room description: 12m room with a single bed, wardrobe, desk with chair and lamp. Very bright window.

29 Renting Apartments and Rooms If you prefer to rent an apartment in Madrid or a room in a shared flat with other students, we recommend that you wait until you are in Madrid before renting your own accommodation. You may find that the apartment is not what you expected, because sometimes the images do not match the reality of the accommodation. Location: c/ Andrés Mellado 45. Transport: The nearest subway station is Argüelles. There are several bus lines. A 10 min walk from the University of Comillas. Precio: (plus a month deposit) including utilities (wi-fi, gas, electricity, water). Description: The rooms are furnished with a large bed, a wardrobe, a chair and a table. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 fridges, 2 washing machines, stove, oven, microwave and storage.

30 Services & Packs acquisition and work procedures In order to ensure a smooth process and satisfaction for students who sign up for the packs and individual services, SGR implements a particular process to achieve these goals. Therefore, any agreement will begin with a personalized assessment form, analyzing the necessities of each student and explaining the steps to follow up for each process. Once both parties have established what pack or service is needed, both SGR and the student will sign a contract of services, where SGR and the student will commit to compliance with the clauses included therein. Then, SGR will begin the mobility process or contracted service, taking the steps necessary for the proper provision of such services. Finally, SGR will look to solve any possible incidents, if any, and will conduct a quality survey for each student.
