The 'mas' has 6 air-conditioned bedrooms and a large swimming pool 16 m x 7 m with integrated Jacuzzi. The property is of 325 sqm (3,500 sq ft) of living area with nice views and 7 bedrooms. On the ground floor, the very nice main entrance with old stoned basin opens onto the kitchen, the living room, and a staircase to the first floor. (fully air conditioned) To the east side is a simple but fully equipped and practical kitchen with a table and chairs for breakfast, large fridge and freezer, Lacanche cooker, Microwave, dishwasher and a full complement of crockery. An exterior French door oriented to the south. A laundry room with washing machine, and ironing table. (No dryer). There is a clothesline outside hidden behind a wooden wall. On the north side, behind the large living room (80 sqm) there is a double bedroom without A/C but with its own private bathroom. There are also 4 other bedrooms on this floor: 3 with double beds and one with two single beds. All these bedrooms are with A/C and private bathroom. Each of the bedrooms offer a particular atmosphere thanks to their decoration: one is with Provencal decoration, another has been decorated in the North African spirit. On the first floor, via the entrance hall staircase leads to a nice lounge mezzanine with wooden ceiling sofa, satellite TV, small computer desk with Internet access. Then, a corridor leads to the two remaining bedrooms, both have double beds and they share a bathroom. Outside, the gardens area of more than a hectare, planted with hundred olive trees, vineyards, truffle oaks, hackberry and cherry trees. The large terrace in front the house with a shaded area (pergola) with table to enjoy summer diners. There is another very agreeable dining area under a tree. The swimming pool 16 m x 7 m is a little bit higher, surrounded by a terrace, protected by an alarm and has stair access. There is a Jacuzzi, 6 sunbathing chairs and 4 loungers. There is a large summer kitchen / living (50 sqm) with table and chairs, a fridge, small freezer, gas BBQ, a gas heater, and a shower room with WC. There is a pétanque court conveniently located in the shade. In the middle of the olive grove, there is a small pond with ducks and a bench shaded by roses. From here you can enjoy a great view of the Alpilles. Near the swimming pool there is another sitting area with a fountain, table and chairs and a traditional BBQ. This region has plenty to offer apart from the charming local village of Eygalières, the lively village of St Rémy 7 kilometres is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the coloruful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see. A little further north of St Rémy is the magnificent walled city of Avignon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which boasts the gothic Palace of the Popes, a wonder not to be missed. Awe-inspiring Roman buildings and ruins are scattered everywhere in this Ancient Roman Province, the impressive triple-tiered aqueduct of the Pont du Gard and the massive arena in Arles are certainly worth a visit.
