Construction is in two phases, with total design capacity of 1100 tonnes/day. In Phase One which is up and running, daily capacity is 700 tonnes, with annual power generation of 15 MW. Phase Two will add 400 tonnes to the daily capacity, and annual power of 9 MW. Weifang Water serves 1.2 million population in a 926 m 2 area in downtown Wenling. 10 CONSUMER PRODUCTS Wing Fat Printing A subsidiary of Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited, Wing Fat Printing was established in 1913 in Hong Kong to support Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company in combating against British and American tobacco companies in the China market. It started as a small print shop at Pottinger Street, Central. One hundred years later, Wing Fat Printing is presently one of the largest and oldest packaging printing companies in the country, ranking among the top ten in the printing industry. Today, Wing Fat has extended from cigarette packaging to wine packaging, tin packaging, and tipping paper and other specialty paper manufacturing. From its Hong Kong home-base, Wing Fat has grown its business that spans a number of mainland provinces and municipalities including Guangdong, Shanghai, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Henan, and Guangxi. The Kan's family was the major shareholder of Wing Fat Printing in the early years. In 1920, Wing Fat Printing was restructured as a limited liability company. After 1949, Wing Fat Printing was put under the auspices of the Shanghai Municipality. In 1981, Wing Fat Printing was assigned under the management of Shanghai Industrial Group. In 1996, Wing Fat became a constitutent member company of Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited, which currently holds 93.47% equity stakes in Wing Fat. Wing Fat Printing has built its leadership position with superb technology and exceptional quality. In its early years, Wing Fat had printing plates made from the paintings of acclaimed painters including Chang Dai-chien, Xu Beihong and Chao Shao-an. Wing Fat has always emphasized the importance of R & D and production equipment. In 1921 Wing Fat introduced the first offset printing press in Southern China. In the late 1940's, all the Chinese version documents at the United Nations conferences were printed by Wing Fat. Other notable awards and accomplishments include winning the Hong Kong International Exhibition Special Award in 1924; being commissioned by the Hong Kong Jockey Club for the production of "Millennium Sweepstake" in 2000; winning the World Packaging Organization "World Star" Design Award in 2003, the Silver Award of the China Printing Awards in 2007, the Excellence Award in 2010, and the Silver Award again in Wing Fat was also the winner of the "Changyong Cup" for excellence in tobacco packaging. Starting 2012, Wing Fat organised the annual Wing Fat Cup "Orient Star" creative packaging design contest to promote the development of the packaging design industry in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Over the past hundred years, Wing Fat Printing has grown its business from tobacco packaging and printing services to encompass wine packaging, food packaging, pharmaceuticals packaging, electronics packaging, metal packaging, tickets and certificates, and construction materials printing. Among Wing Fat's key clients are Nanyang Tobacco, China Tobacco, Xifeng Winery, Shuijingfang Distillery, Maotai Group, Langjiu Distillery, Jiannanchun Liquor, BOC Hong Kong, Coca-Cola, Shanghai Pharmaceutical, and Hin Sang Hong Company. From a founding capital of 100,000 dollars, Wing Fat's capital today has exceeding HK$2.6 billion. As early as , Wing Fat has set up branches in Singapore, Sumatra and Jakarta.
