3 COMPANY BACKGROUND Burnham Corporation was established in 1996, by Craig Burnham, the current managing director. The business commenced as the Valuation Services Division of Burnham Real Estate, a western suburbs based real estate business. The valuation business was purchased by Mr Burnham in 1997, and separated from the real estate business at this time, with the main offices now established in Greensborough, with satellite offices in Footscray, Deer Park and Seddon. Mission Statement At Burnham Corporation we strive to provide quality valuation and consultancy advice, through consistent training and upgrading of skills, to support a select customer base involved in all facets of the property market. 2

4 MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE Burnham Corporation is directed by Craig Burnham, who is responsible for the operation and running of the business. Burnham Corporation comprises a total of 3 full-time staff, 2 of whom are Certified Practising Valuers. We also utilise the services of 7 additional contract valuers, who provide ad-hoc services as required by Burnham Corporation. 3

5 VALUATION and CONSULTANCY CAPABILITIES At Burnham Corporation we provide a comprehensive and efficient service to meet our clients valuation requirements. Our valuation staff provide varying aspects of expertise within specialist areas and combine to form a strong team with many years experience through varying market conditions. Because we regularly provide valuation consultancy advice over a broad range of property types, we are well equipped to solve complex problems which may arise with property related matters. The expertise of Burnham Corporation covers all types of property including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, child care centres, medical centres, telecommunication sites and englobo subdivisions. Burnham Corporation is active in a number of valuation and consultancy areas, including the following: Valuations for insurance purposes Valuations for balance sheet purposes Due diligence and negotiations on acquisition or disposal of property assets Court appearances as expert witnesses Pre-acquisition / sale advice Consultancy regarding maximising use and returns for property assets Rating objections Rental valuations, determinations and consultancy advice Valuations for probate Valuations for stamp duty purposes Valuations for Capital Gains Tax purposes, and Valuations for GST purposes. We have completed valuations throughout the metropolitan area, including Geelong and specialise in providing valuation advice through the northern region of Victoria including Wallan, Kilmore and Seymour. 4

Our strength is further enhanced by the following: All valuers are members of the Australian Property Institute (API), and participate in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, attending recognised seminars, conferences and presentations. All valuers have completed the risk management module developed by the API and the mortgage insurance industry. Adherence to the Code of Ethics of the Australian Property Institute. An extensive sales and leasing database, ensuring accurate and up to date information is available. 5

8 PERSONNEL The valuation team at Burnham Corporation are fully qualified and able to provide broad ranging advice. A brief resume of each valuer is detailed below: Craig Burnham Managing Director Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI), Certified Practising Valuer. Prior to establishing Burnham Corporation he was senior valuer with a national valuation company for 7 years, with broad ranging experience in mortgage valuations on all property types, throughout the Metropolitan area. Over 20 years experience in property valuation, with an extensive background in compensation valuations and valuations for the telecommunications industry. Formerly a member of the Marketing Board of the Victorian Division of the Australian Property Institute, Chairman of the Northern Suburbs Discussion Group, and member of the Excellence in Property Awards sub-committee. Milton Cations Senior Valuer Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI), Certified Practising Valuer. Over 25 years experience in property valuation, with specialist knowledge of the CBD property market, specialising in the valuation of retail, commercial and office buildings. Formerly Chairman of the Australian Property Institute National Valuation and Property Standards Board, as well as being a past President of the Victorian Division of the Australian Property Institute. 7
