3 RPR Product Overview The Realtors Property Resource (RPR ) is a national property database from NAR designed to provide REALTORS with advanced technology tools and features that can be utilized to provide a REALTOR S clients and customers with dynamic reports and analytics which can assist them in making better informed decisions when buying or selling properties. It also allows REALTORS to access detailed information on over 147 million properties nationwide. As a reminder, RPR is: Exclusive technology-only for REALTORS One site, hundreds of datasets on 147 million properties There is no public or consumer access NAR member dues funded, carrying no additional fees to members, MLSs or Associations The mission of RPR is to benefit REALTORS by providing brokers and agents with unmatched access to a vast, single-source, national compilation of information, maps, analytics, and reports. These tools will be used to improve business productivity, lower business expenses, equip the REALTOR with better information, and provide best-inclass valuation tools.

5 Features only available with MLS/CIE data included in RPR MLS/CIE Listings, photos and virtual tours MLS/CIE active, sold, pending, expired, withdrawn and canceled statuses Historic listing comparison tool Realtor Valuation Model (RVM ) Refine property facts, comparables and RVM for custom valuation report allowing REALTORS to add their market knowledge into the value calculation, making the RVM the most accurate street-level automated valuation model available. Charts and Graphs will include trends calculated from MLS/CIE data RPR Broker Tool Sets Support Why Include MLS/CIE Data into RPR? The MLS/CIE Data Itself Without an MLS/CIE partnership with RPR, the MLS/CIE data will not be displayed in RPR. REALTORS will be able to see numerous aspects of the property, but not know if the property is For Sale, Pending, see photos, virtual tours and historical MLS/CIE information. Instead of being able to view all this information in one place, they will need to login to multiple places to obtain all the information they need about a property. RPR supports SSO and MLS/CIE Integration/Deep Linking so that your REALTORS will access RPR via the MLSCIE, which makes it convenient and a value add which your Association or MLS/CIE can promote.
6 The Analytics RPR offers many charts, graphs and additional analytics, this includes the exclusive Realtor Valuation Model (RVM ), which can provide a powerful tool for your members in countering third party Automated Valuation Models (AVMs) which are available to their clients and customers. Without the MLS data, RPR is unable to create RVMs for properties, or many of the other market analytics that REALTORS use to value properties, and include in reports created for consumers. The Reports There are a number of reports within the RPR system which also rely upon licensed MLS information in order to provide all the available features to your REALTOR members. The first and foremost is the Seller s Report (CMA). Without the ability to generate reliable comparables, this report does not provide a complete picture of the market. Market Activity Reports also require current MLS data for accuracy. Does your MLS/CIE already provide the capability for these reports? Keep in mind that RPR, and all the tools contained within, are provided to your REALTORS at no additional cost. What about security? With RPR, you can restrict and define those who can view any and all of your MLS/CIE data. REALTORS outside your local marketplace will only be able to see your licensed MLS/CIE data if you have a data share agreement in place, and instruct RPR to allow access to those REALTORS. Your MLS/CIE can decide to share active data, or any other data-set you provide, with REALTORS in any part of the country, based on your business policies. If you have questions about what type of uses are authorized to RPR, our Data Licensing Agreement explicitly states that we are prohibited from sharing your raw MLS/CIE data with anyone. RPR also employs the latest in security, including Clareity s Scout product with keystroke authentication.
7 Who handles training and support? RPR operates a 24/7 365 day-a-year Call Center in Omaha, Nebraska, which supports phone, and live chat. RPR also has a comprehensive training program that includes various webinars, video tutorials, articles, a robust Train the Trainer program for your staff, and a National Contract Trainer network in many markets. We also have RPR CE classes approved in most states that will allow your members to get CE credits for receiving training on RPR. RPR has created a resource center specifically designed to support MLS staff, as well as members by offering a single source for training classes, marketing and communication: Downloadable badges to embed links into your MLS website or E-newsletters helping you direct members directly to RPR s support systems. Training resources offering weekly webinar training for your members, as well as a schedule of all RPR live events. Expanded Train the Trainer support and a complete overview of all the latest features on the RPR Application. An MLS Technology Tools section outlining no charge MLS resources to enhance RPR s value to your members, such as: RPR can be co-branded to your MLS and made available via a single sign-on from your MLS system. Integration of RPR with your MLS system creates one stop access via your MLS to RPR enhanced data sets. Deep-
8 linking to RPR property details pages or reports allow you to customize your member s experience to get the most from RPR. Free tax and assessment data APIs to power your MLS service, with links to MLS branded pages on RPR for property details, neighbor-hood demographics, charts, maps, and other interactive functionality at your option. 9 RPR Constituent Products As we ve outline above, RPR offers tremendous value for agents in is nationwide database. Understanding that REALTORS have different areas of specialization, as well as invaluable support from their brokerage firms, Associations and MLS/CIES, RPR has been developing specific products, tools and resources for each of these identified RPR Constituents. RPR Broker Tool Sets Brokers want the ability to brand these amazing reports. RPR provides Brokers with the Broker Tool Sets (BTS), which include the ability for companies to brand RPR with their firm s logo, which ensures that all reports generated from their brokerage have company branding. Companies can also display and promote their firm s Affiliated Service Companies, such as Mortgage, Title, Insurance, Home Warranty, etc, to their agents on the RPR application, and also in the branded reports. The RPR Data Tool allows Brokers and managers to access informative RPR charts and reports, giving them a customizable view into their office(s) production, statistics, market share, etc. Again, RPR provides this at no additional cost. So, what should a REALTOR expect when logging in to RPR Commercial? The REALTOR will be able to leverage three core functions: Searching for properties and viewing property details; analyzing a market area; and creating custom reports. RPR Commercial aggregates tax assessment and public records information, stand alone mortgages and liens, foreclosure data, demographics and census information, ESRI Tapestry data, (consumer spending habits aggregated with lifestyle information in order to create consumer behavior analytics) along with licensed data from Commercial Information Exchanges (CIEs) and MLSs to create dynamic search and report features for REALTORS to provide to their clients and customers.

11 RPR Business Model Overview RPR is a business-business model, not a business-consumer model. The Realtors Property Resource, LLC is not a technology vendor. It is a wholly owned subsidiary corporation of the National Association of REALTORS. Any and all returns from NAR s investment in RPR s technologies, including any revenues, are intended to be for the benefit of NAR s members. The RPR is available only to REALTORS. No consumer or third party access is permitted. The RPR business model includes the sale of analytics from t he RPR. Lender Processing Services (LPS) was chosen as a Strategic Alliance Partner for the marketing of the analytic products, within their existing contracts and relationships with lending institutions, governmental agencies and third party segments of the industry. No listing level data, other than the list price of an active property related specifically to the authorized Match and Append product, will be sold to third parties. Information related to the property specific features, agent contact information or seller data will not be released. No access into, or feeds from, the RPR system will be allowed. The RPR system creates the Realtors Valuation Model, (RVM ) the industry gold standard in automated property valuations. By creating a single, agreed-upon valuation for a property which is used by REALTORS, lending institutions and governmental agencies, RPR has the potential to remove much of the friction from the marketplace, thus improving the quality and speed of the real estate transaction, to the ultimate benefit of the consumer. Dale Stinton, NAR CEO, serves as Chairman of the Board. The Board is made up of Residential and Commercial Brokers, State and Local AE s and MLS Executives. RPR is headquartered in Chicago, IL, with offices in Washington D.C and Irvine, CA.
