We have been busy over the past few months with the completion of our first project, Victoria House. We expect to receive the completion certificate from the council within the next two weeks. We are also planning for a grand launch of the site towards the end of September All of us at GSD are looking forward to the successful launch of Victoria House. While Brexit situation is still somewhat uncertain, UK in general has seen an increase in the number of property sales, due to the drop in British Pounds, making it at least 15% to 20% cheaper for foreign investors to invest in UK. Over the last few weeks, UK has seen a surge in property transactions. This is a great opportunity for all investors to invest their funds in UK. GSD has several other projects on going, and a few new projects that will be launched soon, giving enough options for our clients to invest in various cities in UK. We still standby our principle of Affordable Luxury, and we keep our property prices below market value, without compromising on the quality of the projects. 3 VICTORIA HOUSE CONSTRUCTION UPDATES Victoria House is now 99% completed. All apartments have been fully completed. External cleaning has been done. Courtyard and Lounge areas have been completed. Carpets are being laid in currently. Furnitures are arriving to the site on 7th September The building council has inspected the site three times now. We have met all the requirements by the building council. We expect the completion certificates to be issued by 16th September We would like to advise all clients who have purchased units in Victoria House to prepare their completion funds, as notices will be sent out as soon as the completion certificate is issued. 6 MIDLAND MILLS CONSTRUCTION UPDATES Due to the slight delay in completing Victoria House, we had to hold back construction of Midland Mills to fully focus on completing Victoria House. The workers are now scheduled to be back on Midland Mills site on 18th September Block A has 8 to 10 weeks worth of construction to be completed. Once Block A is completed, the rest of the site will be boarded off and separated from Block A so that Block A can be rented out. The demolition work, site clearance, asbestos clearance, and preliminary preparations of construction will take approximately 3 months. Once demolition and site clearance are completed, construction of the project will take place immediately. Platinum One construction is on schedule at the moment. On another news, a 42 Million plan has been unveiled to expand the Sheffield Parkway to three lanes instead of two lanes, to ease congestion. All these activities show the current growth and the expected future growth of Sheffield.
