Other activities during the Splash Boutique and Community Fair -June 8 th is our Family Carnival, Boutique, Free Concert with a fireworks finale -June 9 th is our Parade, Family Carnival, Boutique, Community Fair, and Car Show Booth Fees Splash Boutique Vendor (selling goods Friday and Saturday) $50 Community Fair Vendor (information + activity Saturday only) $25 Food Vendor (selling food Saturday, electricity included) $50 *Booth fees are paid online. 2 Frequently Asked Questions Q. What is the difference between a vendor for the Boutique and the Community Fair? A. The Boutique is held on both Friday and Saturday is only for items being sold. - clothing, jewelry, crafts, paintings, toys, goods, etc. The Community Fair is held only on Saturday and will share information on health and safety, community information and quality of life. Community Fair booths are also required to have an activity for kids/teens. If you have questions for which to apply you may contact Shellie Baertsch at shelliebaertsch@gmail.com or Rashelle Mousley at rashellemousley@gmail.com Q. What qualifies my booth for acceptance? A. The vendor committee will review each application on: - boutique booths must have items on hand to sell - community fair booths giving out information and must include an activity, game or giveaway for kids - booths selling baked goods must have temporary food permit and food handler's permit. - food vendor booths on Saturday must have a temporary food permit and proof of insurance - generally first come, first served within each category. For example, we can only have one Scentsy, or one Younique vendor. If you apply with more than one of those products for your booth, we reserve the right to ask you to only sell one of the products. However, the committee may give preference to those vendors who participated in the past. Q. If I share a booth with one or more persons, do all of us need to apply? A. No. Please do not submit more than one application per booth. Registering applicant will be the one to check-in. Q. I want to sponsor an activity at Saratoga Splash Days. Do I get a booth for free? A. All sponsorships are dealt with through our Civic Events Coordinator AnnElise Harrison. Please contact her at aharrison@saratogaspringscity.com Q. What size is the booth and what do you provide? A. All booths for the boutique and community fair are 10x10. We will mark the booth spaces out in the park. You are responsible for any canopies, chairs, tables, etc you may want to use. Please remember to double stake your canopies as we often have winds with gusts of up to 70MPH. Electricity will be available to vendors for an additional $20. However, no music will be allowed as we will have the band setting up on Friday and live music on Saturday. Booth Fees Splash Boutique Vendor (Friday and Saturday) $50 Community Fair Vendor (Saturday only) $25 Electricity available for an additional $20 Food Vendors (Saturday Only, Electricity is included) $50 *Booth fees are paid online. 3 Boutique Vendor Rules and Regulations I agree that submitting an application does not guarantee me a booth at the Saratoga Splash Days Boutique. I agree that I may only sell merchandise described in my approved application. Any changes from approved must be requested in writing by May 18 th for possible approval by the Splash Vendor committee. Booths are 10'x10' spaces laid out at Neptune Park. Vendors are responsible for their own canopies, tables, chairs, or anything else you might need. Displays, seating, etc must not protrude out of your booth into the walkways or behind the booths. Booth assignments will be given by May 25 th. Electricity will be available to vendors this year for an additional $20. However, no music, etc will be allowed as we will have a concert setting up on Friday and live entertainment all day on Saturday. No sales from vehicles or trailers will be allowed. You must man your booth at all times during business hours. Friday 8 th 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm Saturday 9 th 11:00am 4:00pm Set-up must be complete 1 hour prior to the open of business hours. Friday June 8th - Check in and set-up is between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Clean-up will be approximately 9:30pm on Friday (No Clean-up will be allowed during the concert.) and Saturday the 9th - Set-up will be between 7:00am and 10:00am with clean-up approximately at 4:00pm on Saturday. If you do not show up during the set-up hours, your spot will not be saved, and you will forfeit all fees. especially in the afternoon. Seller/ Vendor assumes full liability for products marketed or sold and agrees to hold The City of Saratoga Springs harmless against any claim of injury, damage by buyer or seller, or other persons resulting from the use, consumption, disposition, display, or marketing of sellers product. Seller agrees to indemnify and hold The City of Saratoga Springs harmless for any and all claims of injury, theft or damage, occurring prior, during or after event. The City of Saratoga Springs reserves the right to refuse participation to vendors who do not comply with rules and regulations. Extended Application Deadline is Friday, April 27 th at 5pm. Vendors will receive an notification of acceptance or denial of application beginning Friday 21 st. Booth fees are due by Friday, April 27 th and no refunds are available after May 11 th. Any application may be rejected for non-payment of fees or duplicates. The Saratoga Splash Committee reserves the right to prohibit the display and/or sale of any item that, in their sole judgment, is not in keeping with the standards of Saratoga Splash. After acceptance, be prepared to provide one of the following when you pay online: Social security number or Tax ID number. Completing this application confirms you have read and agree with terms and conditions.
