1 2017 Colorado River Bluegrass Festival Dear Potential Colorado River Bluegrass Festival Vendor: The 14th Annual Colorado River Bluegrass Festival is coming! This year s event dates are: February 10-12, 2017, the event will be held at Don Sullivan Park in Rotary Park located at 2315 Balboa Drive in Bullhead City. The event times are: If you would like to be a vendor, please complete the enclosed vendor registration form and read the applicable fee information and make your check out to the City of Bullhead City for the total amount due. 2 Colorado River Bluegrass Festival Vendor Event Information *Each vendor will receive 2 event wristbands. Additional wristbands will need to be purchased. Dry camping spaces available at event rate, $15 per night. Vendor Fees 10' x 10' space $75.00 / Weekend 10' x 20' space $ / Weekend Over 10' x 20' space $15.00 additional for every 10' or fraction thereof Food or drink vendors $ / Weekend (a 10x10 or 10x20 maximum) Non-Profit Organizations 10' x 10' space $10.00 / Weekend Over 10' x 10' space $15.00 additional for every 10' or fraction thereof Food or drink vendors $75.00 / Weekend (a 10x10 or 10x20 maximum) *Nonprofit organizations selling specific items such as: bake sale items, bottled water, candy, Girl Scout cookies, will pay the $10.00 or $ fee (depending upon space size). Electric Hook Ups for Vendor (Limited availability electricity not available in park vendor area). Applies to food vendor area only, all vendors; nonprofit or profit Additional Information: 1. Food/beverage vendors are required to submit a copy of their health permit issued by the Mohave County Health Department to the vendor chairperson. Contact the Health department at (928) Vendors are responsible for reporting and payment of all applicable sales tax. 3. Vendor check-in is from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm Thursday, Feb 9, Vehicles used for unloading must be out of the event area by 5:00 pm or before on Thursday, February 9, NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE EVENT AREA DURING EVENT HOURS. All additional supplies must be carried in from the parking lot. Vendors who abuse this rule may be excused from the event and/or future events. Vendors are requested to park away from the event area to allow the public access to the prime parking spaces. Event Hours: The above hours will be the advertised event hours. Vendors are encouraged to be open during these hours. Vendors may open earlier and stay open later if desired. See item #8 & #9 below. 5. Requests for specific spaces cannot be guaranteed. Assignment of spaces are at the vendor chairman s discretion, PLEASE LIST AND HIGHLIGHT ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE NEXT PAGE (VENDOR REGISTRATION PAGE). 6. Vendors are responsible for their own set-up and take down. The City does not provide any labor assistance. The City does not provide tables, chairs or shade canopies. 7. Vendors are responsible for securing their booths during the event and over the night time hours. Colorado River Bluegrass Festival and associates, the City of Bullhead City, employees, departments and volunteers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. 8. The Colorado River Bluegrass Festival and associates, the City of Bullhead City, employees, departments and volunteers are not responsible for any liability incurred by your product or actions of your organization/company. 9. Please do not remove ANY of the event tables or chairs from the large Ramada or stage area. 10. No Refunds

5 CITY OF BULLHEAD CITY SPECIAL EVENT VENDOR INDEMNITY AND RELEASE In consideration of the opportunity to sell authorized products at the Bullhead City special event listed below ( Event ), I agree to waive, release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of Bullhead City, any sponsors, organizations, individuals or volunteers assisting with any phase of the Event, and their employees, agents, officers or elected officials from liability for any claim or suit for damages, including attorney s fees, of any kind, and resulting from any injury to, death of, or property damage to myself or any other person arising out of my participation in the Event, in any capacity, except for claims of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I understand that this Indemnity and Release is binding upon my heirs, personal representatives, administrators, successors and assigns and those of the parties listed above. This Indemnity and Release also serves as my permission for use of any images taken of me during the Event and my waiver of any compensation for their use by the City and its assigns for any promotional or official City purposes. I understand and agree that this Indemnity and Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Arizona, and that if any portion is held invalid, I agree that any remaining portions will continue in full force and effect. I am aware of and acknowledge that I must abide by any written rules or established protocols for the operation of the Event as may be issued or directed by the City of Bullhead City.
