Summaw ExplanationlBackaround: This petition to vacate a portion of a utility and drainage easement on Lot 2, Block C, Oak Park Subdivision-Unit Four, is associated with the owners' desire to replace an existing screened pool enclosure. The petitioners are the apparent owners of record of that portion of the plat that is requested to be vacated. The vacation of this portion of the plat will not affect the ownership or right of convenient access of persons owning other parts of the subdivision. Appropriate staff members reviewed the subject area and determined the vacation would not have an adverse effect on the remaining easement area. Additionally, Letters of No Objection have been received from Bright House, Knology, Pinellas County Utilities, Progress Energy (Distribution), Progress Energy (Transmission), and Verizon. Research indicates there is no current Homeowners Association for the Oak Park Subdivision-Unit Four. The petitioners, Stanley C. Keim and Sue E. Keim, are both current employees of Pinellas County, within the Utilities Department and the Human Resources Department. Notice was mailed by the Clerk of the Court to the adjacent property owners and nearby residents, in accordance with Florida Statute requirements.
