The purpose of Consent application B- 06 proposes a boundary adjustment. Motion No. DSC Moved by Jermey, Seconded by Macpherson that Minor Variance Application A- 14 by, Jimmy Furlano, specifically for permission to permit an accessory dwelling unit ( apartment unit) with a shared egress within a single detached dwelling as well as permission for two parking spaces in the Shoreline Residential ( SR) Zone on the lands municipally known as 12 Myrtle Ave., Township of Oro- Medonte, be deferred to allow the applicant the opportunity to address the outstanding building and septic matters and lot grading and drainage matters. The following public persons offered verbal comments John and Jeannette Robertson provided objections that the staff report addressed their concerns, provided objections regarding the size of application, ( application is bigger than the size of the homes in the area), application is not appropriate for area, and future development expansion concerns. Bruce Leibold provided objections that the size of the application is bigger than their house including the height), is a commercial building, running a business from a residential area, future use if property is sold, view from their house. Lynda Trueman provided objections regarding view from their house, size of building, operating a business out of house, machinery equipment, rural zoning, implications if property is sold and being an advocate for the community of Edgar. Bob Campling provided objections proposal is bigger than house, currently there is a three car garage and this is a commercial building and application should be in line with resident neighbourhood.
