1 ii. 5 May 9 June MMXII ii. Nos Arch-Art! Books consists of seventy publications that present the artist book as a medium through which architecture might be photographically and representationally explored. Using the periodicals in Archizines (17 April 9 June) as its inspiration, Arch-Art! forms a complementary presentation of artist books that mine the overlap and friction found in the recent resurgence of independent architecture and art publishing from around the world.

Storefront for Art and Architecture is a nonprofit organization committed to the advancement of innovative positions in architecture, art and design. Since 1982 Storefront has presented the work of more than one thousand architects and artists who challenge conventional perceptions of space-form aesthetic experiments to explorations of the conceptual, social and political forces that shape the built environment. The organization s gallery space includes a 12-panel facade designed in a collaborative project by artist Vito Acconci and architect Steven Holl that is regarded as a contemporary architectural landmark and that exhibiting artists often utilize in their creations.
