3 HISTORY OF THE FIRM This firm is a continuation of a firm founded as a part-time operation in It became full-time in Specification consulting services were provided for the architectural community. The specification production has progressed from automatic typewriters to interactive computer software. David was one of the first to experiment with and become a "beta tester" of what is know known as "Master Spec Q & A". In 1977, roofing consulting was included in the services provided. This service was provided to owners directly and through other Architects.. This was but a continuation of the services that the area architects and clients had been receiving.. Photographic methods are used to document existing roofs and their relation to the new detailing. This method has proved very helpful to clients and roofers alike to understanding the scope of the services and requirements. PROJECT EXPERIENCE Roofing projects have included shingles, slate, clay tile, built-up, modified bitumen, rubber, PVC, hypalon and sprayed urethane. Project size has varied from 20 square to 12,000 squares. Specification projects have varied from very small to projects over eighteen million dollars in size. Some projects are simple while others have been very complex and have included all of the equipment to make the building functional. Project size and scope has varied. Some of the largest projects have been in the $18,000,000 range and some of the smallest projects have been around $10,000. At any one time, as many as 15 projects may be in the office, however, seldom are more than 5 in an active stage. Roof projects have ranged from 20 squares to 12,000 squares. In 2012 work included a church in Fairport NY and an apartment building in Indianapolis. In 2013 work includes three churches for the Diocese of Rochester NY. In 2014 work includes five churches for the Diocese of Rochester NY.

He also served as the outside auditor for all warranted Owens Corning roofs in the same area. These two experiences gave him detailed experience in inspecting Built-Up Roofing, Modified Roofing and PVC Roofing. He was instructed in the shortfalls of the systems and how to inspect each membrane. On the various trips listed for EPDM plants and other trips Dave has taken to EPDM plants for specific projects and problems, he has been instructed in many of the indications of inadequate workmanship on an EPDM Roof.
