NAGA Architects, Designers and Planners Riyadh, KSA Director NAGA Riyadh/Business Development Manager Responsible for the daily operations of the Riyadh office of Naga Architects, a 160 person architecture, Interior Design, Engineering and Landscape firm with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Boston. Leadership Baptist Hospital (Pensacola) Neonatal Intensive Care and Birthing Center: Design team leader for a new 12,000 square foot NICU as an additional to the existing Birthing Center. The creation of the NICU required maintaining operations of the existing Birthing Center throughout the construction sequence. Duties included contract writing and negotiating, creating and maintaining design schedules and budgets as well as working directly with the contractor and subcontractors for owner directed changes Baptist Medical Park (Pensacola) Design team leader for a new 115,000 square foot, four story associated physicians medical office tower and out-patient surgery center. Responsibilities included coordination of all design professionals and well as working directly with the owner and contractor. 5 Baptist Hospital (Pensacola) Emergency Room expansion: Design team leader for a new 17,000 square foot expansion of an existing 12,000 square foot Emergency Service Department. Maintaining operation of the existing services 24/7 while construction was under way was a specific challenge for this project and required regular if not constant coordination between the design professionals, hospital administrators and staff as well as the contractor. Responsibilities included contract writing and negotiations coordination of all design professionals and well as working directly with the owner and contractor. Duties included creating and maintaining design schedules and budgets as well as working directly with the contractor and subcontractors for owner directed changes to 1998 Teamwork University of Miami Continuing Service Contract: Architectural Team Leader and Project Manager for a variety of projects associated with the development and adaptive reuse of academic spaces for the University of Miami. Duties included contract writing and negotiations. West Palm Beach City Center Design/Build team leader for a new 250,000 SF City Hall, Library and Photographic Museum. Senior Project Manager for a $150 million, multi-use civic project for the City of West Palm Beach. Responsibilities required daily interaction with the owner, design team of 15 dedicated consultant groups and the contractor. Duties included contract writing and negotiating, presentations to the Owner as well as daily jobsite coordination for constructability and design issues Miami-Dade Public Schools Design/Build team leader for the $80 million replacement for the South Dade Community High School. Responsibilities included contract writing and negotiating, to coordinating all design professionals as well as interfacing with representatives of the Miami Dade School District and the contractor.
