Lecturer - Working Drawings - This course includes the production of a complete set of working drawings in order to expose students to actual and practical projects, and to bridge the gap between design and construction stage. - Computer Aided ure Design (AutoCAD and Revit) Application of computer-aided Design to architecture, planning, building construction and project management: line, surface, and solid modeling; perspective and other relevant projections; data gathering techniques; analysis of both design and execution phases; building model and design ideas. - ural Drawing 1 - The course is designed to enable students acquire basic skills in architectural drawings and to have firsthand experience in ural presentation and projections to express ideas and conceptions in the design process in the form of plans, elevations sections and other 3D illustrations. The course uses basic technical drawing free hand sketching. - ural Design 3 - The main objective of this course is to introduce students to philosophical and intellectual bases of architectural design. This will be achieved through design projects that focus on current methods of thinking influencing the formation of the built environment. - ural Design 2 - An introduction to design methodology as a problem-solving strategy with logical thinking based on problem facts. Students are trained to conduct pre-design studies and analyses as a critical input to the design process. - ural Design 1 - The course aims to introduce buildings as an aesthetic product that consists of integrated variety of functions. Students are trained on the intuitive approaches in analogical and iconic design using both geometric and free shapes. - Basic Design - This course is a basic introduction to design principles, spatial organizations and compositions. Emphasis on space typologies to create abstract forms through the introduction of elements such

2 as masses, planes, frames and linear elements. Solid and void relationships are introduced through volumetric addition and subtraction techniques.
