3 Aleksander Mokrecki Aleksander graduated from Warsaw School of Economics in Management and International Relations, he gained his business experience as an entrepreneur running a number of innovative projects as well as an employee of the international auditing company Ernst&Young. He has gained experience with business investments by working as a financial analyst at Black Lion. He is now responsible for investing in startups at Startup HUB Poland. In his free time Aleksander enjoys travels, hiking and reading. Aleksandr Malakhovskii Aleksandr is a big fan of contemporary art. His main field of interest is contemporary academic music and he has published a number of academic and journalistic articles on the topic. Currently he is trying to design his own contemporary music projects after having participated in a few, he now sees it is time to invent something original himself. Alexandra Karpova Alexandra is a researcher and a social entrepreneur. She is a PhD fellow at IGOP, University of Autonoma, Barcelona, and her research focuses on the comparison between creative industries and social entrepreneurship initiatives in Western Europe, the Baltic countries and Russia. Recently she has taken part in TEDxBarcelona Women, 15*2 Experience, and AuthentiCity. Alexandra also participated as an expert in the «Creative Cities» project of the British Council in Russia and Eastern Europe. Aliaksandra Dylkina Aliaksandra describes herself as currently specializing in marketing and permanently interested in everything. She also has experience in consulting, advertising and copywriting. Her passion is not just the creative field, she also appreciates analytics and is looking for a chance to combine the two.

4 Andreas Kask Most of Andreas interests are focused on culture, art and entertainment. Right now he works for a film production company called Nafta and he also works for the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival producing special events during the festival. He currently studies film production at Baltic Film and Media School, produces music and short films and organises parties in Tallinn. Andrey Varella Andrey is a strategist focusing on the delivery of values to people and society through business solutions. At the moment, he studies at Hyper Island, Stockholm, and is working to transform the Brazilian informal sector. Anna Walkowska Anna is the founder and CEO of Homplex.com - virtual showrooms for home furnishing ecommerce. She also co-founded Reaktor - a startup co-working mansion in Warsaw - and held the position of Chapter Director at Startup Grind Warsaw. She advises on business modelling, startup development strategy and early stage investments. She is an IT geek since childhood and has previously worked as an IT security expert for ABN AMRO and at RBS, leading international teams. Anna is a happy entrepreneur and motivator. Atis Egliņš-Eglītis Atis is project manager of the Liepaja Culture Department. He is a creative industry developer and educator and has collected experience in different project implementations in the areas of university education, research, SME, youth policy and culture development.

5 Birgit Paulkin With a professional and academic background in advertising, branding and communications, Birgit is strongly interested in lifestyle brands and fashion as tools for creating identities and telling stories. Originally from Estonia, Birgit recently moved to Stockholm to do a Master s degree in Fashion Studies at Stockholm University. Bohdana Kozubenko Bohdana is a Master student in Business & Design at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. She is interested in Design Thinking and she wants to operate on a global scale. She has co-organised the Global Service Jam and Global Sustainability Jam in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Dawid Strębicki Dawid is an architect and urban planner, educated at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Technology in Delft, Netherlands, where he was awarded the prize of best TU Delft graduate in 2007/2008. He worked for the Belgian office architecten de vylder vinck taillieu in Ghent as a project architect and is now leading an architectural office Atelier Starzak Strebicki together with Jola Starzak in Poznań, Poland, since Donatas Rinkevičius Donatas is a journalist, music lover and creator. He seeks to work in organizations where his activities include working with communication and also preparation of various journalistic material. Since his piano studies in art school, he has found himself in a close relationship with music. He devotes his spare time to the production of electronical music and performs regularly in his home country Lithuania or sometimes in the other two Baltic States.

6 Egor Utkin Egor sees himself as an artist and entrepreneur. In the former he is a contemporary dancer and professional singer. In the latter he is the founder of the «Atmosphere of the dance» festival that annually unites over participants and a cofounder of the Umbra business project that creates light & shadow installations. He wants to work on the idea of uniting young people around his three personal passions: art, project & event management and social impact. Elena Kurlyanskaya Elena believes that the future belongs to social entrepreneurs. She manages projects that are socially orientated, seeking to make a difference and have impact. Therefore she acts as a Member of the Board of Trustees at a charity fund that helps disabled children. Elena Vėgėlytė As a day job Elena works as a tax consultant in an audit company, in her free time she is running the blog In the future she wants to focus more on her passion for art and would like to create an online gallery. She is also opening a fast food restaurant. Ellen Vene Ellen is currently studying at the architecture department of the Estonian Academy of Arts where she mostly works with spaces and installations. She is an enthusiastic multitasker and among other things she has been a part of organising events, such as Tallinn Bicycle Week.

7 Frans Robert Frans is the vice-editor of the webzine The Baltic Scene, which offers an insight into the untapped Baltic music scene. He also manages the magazine s music tours and the two Latvian bands The Coco nuts and The Pink Elephant.Additionally he is one of the organisers of Ezera Skanas (Sounds of the Lake), a music festival that happens on floating stages in the middle of a lake. Hannes Paldrok As an entrepreneur Hannes is starting a print business which will mediate art on different canvases, mostly textiles and paper. He is also part of a seasonal project in Pärnu called «Katlamaja» which pushes underground art and culture in the summer capital of Estonia. As part of his family s business he is involved in the export of Estonian, Baltic and American art to China. Helena Veidenbaum Helena is Account Manager at Velvet Creative Alliance, where she manages design projects. She describes herself as a curious and empathic people s person and is driven by the best user experience. She is interested to learn new aspects of design, innovation and technology. Indre Razbadauskaite Indre is co-founder of the neuro-marketing start up Global Key. Her future plans are to organise a competition for young entrepreneurs from her hometown Klaipeda in Lithuania and their business ideas. Indre believes that we are all hidden heros who can become visible through networking, collaboration and good will to inspire people to action.

8 Inga Norke Inga is a communication strategist for creative industries in Lithuania and also works at the art factory LOFTAS, including the factory s annual urban music festival LOFTAS FEST as well as the annual conference of creative industries WHAT S NEXT? She used to be editor in chief of two Lithuanian culture magazines: Pravda and 370. She is currently opening her own agency and in the future would like to open an affordable art gallery. Ints Ivanovskis Ints is a creator and graphic designer based in Stockholm. He is currently studying at Forsbergs Advertising and Graphic Design School and works at SNASK. Jakub Kupikowski Since having graduated with Diploma of the Year in Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology in 2012, Jakub is trying not to be an architect. He has been volunteering on a farm in Norway and developed his passion for programming which he has had since high school. He is now working on a software for architects and Attefallshus container accomodation. Jan Świerkowski Jan is the CEO of the Polish non-governmental organization Fundacja Platon, which is strongly involved in cultural activities and financial support of youth. In 2012 Jan was in charge of Cosmic Underground, an artistic journey from Estonia to Portugal. Under his guidance, a train filled with art from Baltic countries traversed Europe for 2 months, having its final stop in Guimaraes European Capital of Culture Since October 2014 he has had the pleasure of being the president of Kuyavian- Pomeranian Creative Cluster.

9 Jan Wróblewski Jan is an architect and artist, specializing in product design, interiors and art. His goal is to cross any and all boundaries between art and design, fashion and architecture. He runs two small businesses: one for temporary tattoos and the other for jewellery. He wants to create an experience that becomes a destination in its own right with an individual sense of spirit and soul. Janis Klimanovs Janis Klimanovs is a Latvian photographer and filmmaker who seeks to make his ideas tangible. His explorations are translated into a mixture of documentary and fiction where duality and subtexts play an important role. In the past years he has been working as a mentor in several culture and art schools and he is actively involved in alternative education platform development in Latvia for young creatives. He is currently the Creative Director at the Oak Room. Joanna Wojciechowicz Joanna is a traveler, film lover and designer with her main focus being the relationship between architecture and film art. She likes to explore the world from a unique perspective, when approaching an issue from a backround of a wide range of interests and passions. Johan Carlsson Johan is a recent graduate from the Business & Design programme at University of Gothenburg. He is currently participating in a city development project in Gothenburg, while applying for PhD studies and trying to make the world a better place. He likes tea, home-made ice-cream, reading, walking and almost everything that has to do with Japan.

10 Johanna Norberg Johanna is a traveler who believes that when we meet we can change the world. She studies Digital Data Strategy at Hyper Island, finding herself on a mission to create a bridge where online and onsite meetings collide. Junnu Savolainen Junnu is an entrepreneur from Lohja, Finland and the founder of Letgee Creative Oy. Letgee (Finnish slang word for; laid back or mellow) provides some kick ass web solutions mainly focusing on webdesign, mobile apps and different kinds of software programming such as games. Through his company he also has experience in developing high quality event services such as livestreaming and social media integrations for events. Laura Järvinen As a visual arts teacher Laura currently works as a -tell me what you need me to be- resource teacher for two Helsinki primary schools. She wants to enable people to discover and express themselves. She is very eager to jump on board of any DIY project and to give unsolicited advice on layout designs. Justina Kaminskaitė Justina is a singer-songwriter and theatre maker with a keen interest in movement practices and space. Currently living in Lithuania and working as a Project manager at the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies, Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, internationally she is a member of The Sun Apparatus Theatre Company (UK). Justina is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, and at the same time she enjoys contributing to creative projects simply as a performer.

11 Katsiaryna Syramalot Katsiaryna is a designer and a photographer and works as freelance media trainer for Belarusian NGO s. She is also the art-director of 34, a multimedia magazine in Belarus. Kristiina Pauskar In addition to Kristiina s daily job as a consultant and project manager in one of the leading PR companies in Estonia, she is a second year student of Business Administration (MBA) at Tallinn University of Technology. Liana Benke Liana curates and produces international educational projects and exhibitions within the field of contemporary photography for ISSP. Combining her passions for art, visual and social research, she also teaches Visual Anthropology at the University of Latvia. After having enjoyed living in Australia, the UK and Sweden, she is currently based in the, for her, perfectly-sized city of Riga. Liena Šiliņa Liena is working at the architecture office «MADE arhitekti» and dancing at a contemporary dance group Buras. If she accidentally breaks a wine glass or runs in the corner of a table don t worry, she does it now and then. Liena has studied architecture at Riga University, Lund University and numerous international summer schools.

12 Liene Jurgelāne As the Director of Kanepes Culture Centre Liene finds inspiration in the arts, music and conversations. Her drive is a passion for learning, adventures and understanding how different processes, thoughts, people and events that are interconnected on a global scale. Liene Kuplā Liene Kupla has worked as an acting partner in the business incubator Creative Andrejsala for 4 years now and has helped more than 130 creative start-up companies to develop their businesses. She is a member of the Creative Industries Council as well as the Design Council under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia. LIene loves to travel and is planning her next trip on Route 66 in February next year. Lina Bartkutė As a multidisciplinary artist and fashion designer, Lina s work moves somewhere between art and design and is most of the time entangled in each other. She is interested in new trends and innovations in the areas of fashion design and textile and also new modes of fashion production and consumption. Lindsay Tingström Lindsay is a freelance designer, maker, explorer and collaborator. She lives in Sweden by the way of the American Southwest. She is currently studying for a Master in Business & Design at HDK in Gothenburg.

13 Liva Bremere As an active and energetic representative of two NGO s, Liva aims to create the story of Latvia and enhance the country s entrepreneurship development process. She holds a Master s degree in political science from the University of Latvia. She is interested in social entrepreneurship, social innovation, creativity, branding and storytelling. Mariliis Mõttus Mariliis Mõttus is an English philology graduate, who turned into a full-time journalist, but still happens to teach English from time to time. She works as a music editor at the Estonian monthly Müürileht and as a web editor for the online media Wader. Mariliis considers time as an enemy and most probably loves the same things as the rest of generation Y. Marta Grochowska Marta s life circulates around service design. At Greenhat she helps clients to create new and improving existing services. Every other night she spends studying for her MBA in Service Innovation Design and three times a year she participates at the Warsaw Service Design Jams. Maryna Razakhatskaya Maryna is a growth hacker marketer raised in IT and focused on the opportunities uncovered by the Internet of Things. She is an advertising contests winner and conscious entrepreneur, she strives to redirect advertising budgets to green, artistic, energy-saving, reative «phygital» projects that will make our cities a better place to live in and raise the corporate social responsibility of advertisers.

14 Michiko Erkola Michiko is a Japanese born media artist (MFA) based in Helsinki. At this moment she focuses on making art projects with 3D graphics/ animation, collaborating with other creative individuals from overseas. In 2014 she started-up her own company «Mime» which offers visual satisfaction with 3DCG, Animation and Music production. Modesta Kairytė YES is Modesta s motto and new experiences are her passion. As a media student, communication specialist and art & culture lover Modesta is interested in social & creative projects creation and management. Natalia Kotlyarova As a former consultant at PwC Russia and team leader at Groupon Russia, Natalia has experience in professional business advisory services, strategy and business process optimisation. She then took a career break, travelling and volunteering in projects such as rescuing sea lions at the coast of Peru and volunteering at Paralympic Games 2014 in Sochi, Russia. In July 2014 she returned to Russia and is working as a business coach for Startup Academy GVA LaunchGurus, a business accelerator and a unique educational program for entrepreneurs. Nathalie Nguyen Nathalie graduated from a 3 year programme Enterprising Leadership at The Kaospilots and is now working for the creative consultancy Spark, which is based in Copenhagen. At Spark she works with development through sustainable change processes, both on an organizational level and societal level. In her work she tries to facilitate and lead processes that bring alternative business models and value creation into play.

15 Pasha Bocharov As a musician and sound engineer Pasha is working with many musicians from different countries and running his own live techno project and a home studio. His aim for the moment is to build a proper studio and make sound recording more affordable for Belarusian musicians. He is eager to establish new contacts for productive cooperation. Pavel Vlasov Pavel is a software engineer of mobile technologies and cofounder of the Alerter ios app. He took part in different hackathons and volunteer projects worldwide. He likes travelling and running in new cities. Piotr Wojciechowski Piotr is passionate about making ideas happen and founded TRALALABS - a creative company helping companies and NGOs in changing ideas into impactful actions. He is also strongly involved in the TED/TEDx community as an initiator and team leader for TEDx in his home city (TEDxLublin). He co-organises Warsaw Jams - open workshops on service design which are part of the Global Service Jam project. Rebecca Birge Rebecca describes herself as a creative problem solver who is interested in learning from and together with others. She is studying Digital Strategy and would like to combine this with her earlier studies in Social Anthropology in her future career. Alongside her studies she works with a non-profit association with the mission to introduce children to programming.

16 Sargheve Sukumaran Sargheve is a designer based in Warsaw. He has been involved in creating new products and experiences for the European, American and Asian markets for the past 8 years. His other passions are photography, motorbiking and cooking. Signe Adamoviča Signe calls herslf constructive, logical and creative and does things from the heart or not at all. In her previous role at the Ministry of Culture in Latvia she was one of the driving forces behind creative industries policy and project developments in the country. Toms Varpinš Toms has always been keen on new technologies and on trying out the new and untested. As a user experience specialist his mission is to bring intuitive digital products and solutions to real users. It is his passion to translate technologies to humans.

17 Vahur Mäe Vahur Mäe is a serial entrepreneur, based in Estonia. Right now he is working on an industry changing charcoal grilling product named Grillcube. He has 8 years of entrepreneurship experience and his expert fields are international sales, production management and business planning. Yrja Oftedahl Lothe Yrja has been working with startups for some years back in Norway in various fields like fashion, educational technologies and community managing. For the moment she is based in San Francisco to check out the startup scene, learn more, connect with other like minded people and figure out what kind of opportunities and possibilities there are out there. She is full of ideas and wants to realise them.
