The initial task was to negotiate with EAAE/AEEA the terms of collaboration and to organize an annual conference for the faculty of the two associations to meet in Europe and exchange ideas and information about architectural education, the first one took place in: 1990 in Athens for the signing of the Protocol of Collaboration between ACSA and EAAE/AEEA and was hosted by the National Technical University of Athens. Following which the ACSA Board asked to organize the following conferences: (a) 1991 in Paris, hosted by the MELTEM, the Ministry of the Environment, Housing, Transport and the Sea.
