Families that qualify pay 30 percent of their combined adjusted income for rent. ligibility requirements may vary by property and may include income, financial assets and family size. To inquire about renting a subsidized apartment, contact the property owner or manager at the numbers below. Neither HUD nor MFA can accept rental applications for subsidized housing. Some subsidized rental housing are set aside for the elderly (those 62 years of age and older) and/or physically or mentally disabled individuals. Disabled individuals must have an obvious physical disability and must have their conditions certified by a physician.
