Great view of the capitol. Also has parking garage available under the building. Negative None listed Overall Review This is a great place to live if you are looking for a nice, quiet apartment close-ish to campus. Quiet neighbors who mostly keep to themselves. They know you and your pet by name. They have awesome parties and fun get togethers for the complex. Maintenance is always efficient and friendly. Negative Long commute from campus Overall Review The distance from campus can be a little challenging, but it is also nice to be away from the campus bubble. The neighborhood is very walk-able, quiet and safe I came into this apartment blind and I lucked out. It's amazing and I highly recommend it to others! Very nice apartments with fireplace and all the amenities a young professional could want. Negative The only thing I didn't like about Lenox Village was how far away from City Campus it was. During peak traffic hours (i.e. when everyone in town is commuting to the university/capital/downtown area) it takes minutes to get to campus, when during non-peak hours it takes fewer than 15. I found the commute grading and unnecessary after a few months, when I could live within 10 minutes of campus for a cheaper price. Overall Review If it wasn't for the commute I would have stayed! Very nice pool. Excellent location and a bus stop right outside so if the weather is bad, you can ride the bus. Close to both campuses, close to shopping, buildings are quiet, on the bus line Negative I do feel they raised the rent a decent amount each year. I also know the size/price of apartments vary so be sure to check those out for details. Very prompt in responding to maintenance problems. 1) Maintenance responds quickly to requests. 2) The office staff is very friendly and willing to help with multiple issues. 3) Once I ordered a safe and when it was delivered, one of the office staff helped me carry it into my apartment (it weighed 50+ lbs.). 4) Cable is included in the rent (however, this makes internet very expensive). 5) Northridge Heights is close to campus and only a 15 minute drive to/from UNL, using Fletcher to 14th Street. 6) I feel safe living here on my own. 7) The grounds kept clean and trash is picked up often. 8) There is plenty of places to park and guests can park without a permit. 9) My neighbors seem friendly, although I've never really said more than "hi" to them. 10) I'd recommend the 2 story unit (phase 2) over the 3 story (phase 1) unit (unless you want to live near more noise, the pool/playground, and many students). 11) When renewing a year lease, CIP provides rewards. 12) Northridge Heights is in a nice neighborhood close to stores and restaurants and close to I-80; it's a nice location. Negative 1) Be careful about renting garages. CIP rented my currently rented garage to another person and I came home to find someone else using my garage and they moved around my things in the garage. I rented a different garage unit one winter and when I opened the garage door, there was no wall separating the garage on the other side. I was told no one else had the other side. However, the next day, someone was parked in there. I did not feel safe sharing my garage with another person so they had to find me another garage. 2) My billing statement has been messed up a few times based on human errors. 3) I purposely moved into a non-pet building. CIP turned my building into a pet building without informing me. Now I live in a building full of pets. 4) There is no place to go in case of a tornado. 5) If there is a heavy snow storm, it may take a while for the driveways to be scooped. 6) My family rented the Club House for an event and reserved tables and chairs. On the day of the event, CIP had given our tables and chairs to another event at a nearby apartment complex, leaving us to scramble. They did make this right by waiving the rental fee. 7) Residents are charged a separate fee for water, trash, and sewer each month, which makes your rent bill unknown until it arrives in the mail/on your account. 8) Rent goes up $10-$20/month for every year lease renewal. Overall Review Very positive experience so far! Overall, I've had a decent experience with Northridge Heights. It is apartment living, so nothing is perfect. I personally live in a taken care of unit with decent neighbors. I feel safe living there and have a secure entry. I know I have maintenance available for help with anything needing fixing which is very nice and they've always been helpful. The staff always respond to my requests and get back to me quickly. My deck is a nice area to have outdoor space. It's not perfect, but better than a lot of other apartment options. Ratings (1-5 star rating with 5 being the best) Overall Rating: Respondents:

Not a lot of storage space within unit. complexes need more upkeep. Appeared to be a lot of tenet turnover. About a 20 minute commute to campus. My experience dealing with the Richdale corporation were terrible. Notifications about packages were inconsistent. Perfect balance of campus proximity and non-student residents Would not recommend I recently moved to Tanglewood from the southern part of Lincoln for the location. I loved how in the middle of everything Tanglewood was as well as how close to both East and City Campus it is. I have cut my commute in more than half by living there. It is a bit student heavy because of proximity to UNL, but I'm on the third floor and have found no issues at all with noise. It's not as nice as other "luxury" apartment complexes in Lincoln, but still a quality place with great amenities and service. Very cozy, price-friendly one bedroom units. Would definitely recommend!
