12 AREA DESCRIPTION 28 on Thomas Apartments is located at East Thomas Road in the desirable Midtown Phoenix area. The property is situated immediately east of the southeast corner of Thomas Road and 12th Street with easy access to State Route 51 and Interstate-10. There is an abundance of manufacturing and warehousing employment nearby along Interstate-17, three miles west of the property, creating major housing demand in the area. 28 on Thomas is conveniently located near the Metro light rail with a station located just one and a half miles west at the intersection of Central Avenue and Thomas Road, providing easy access to Downtown Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa. Proximity to the light rail has historically been shown to improve property values as it encourages redevelopment and gentrification of the surrounding areas.
