2 Architectural Consultant at Arclectic Present As an Architectural consultant I work with licensed professionals and clients to produce Architectural projects. My services include: As-builts (drawings based on existing site measurements) Construction Documents Physical Models Computer Aided Design (CAD) 3D Modeling & Rendering Photo Manipulation Architectural Design Code Compliance (ADA, South Florida Building Code, Life Safety, Etc...) I offer extremely fast turn-around for projects and have competitive rates. Junior Architect at 3 Design Design is an Architecture firm based in Metropolitan Miami-Dade County Florida. 3 Design specializes in services for; commercial buildings, hospitality, residential, additions and remodeling, interior design, and historic renovation. The firm produces computer renderings for; client preview, city permits, design review boards and historic review boards. Although I was originally hired to create photo-realistic Architectural renderings my duties soon expanded to include; design work based on sketches and notes from the Architect and client directly, programming for space requirements, on-site measurements, architectural plans, working drawings, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. A large portion of my work consisted of preparing plans for existing buildings where plans were not available (as-builts) based on site measurements. As a Junior Architect I also assisted in conducting preliminary studies of proposed projects to obtain information for space and design requirements, made design sketches, created scale drawings of details required for construction documents, assisted in the preparation of design development drawings, and met with clients to determine requirements for projects. I was responsible for reviewing shop drawings, specifications, and construction material recommendations submitted by contractors to ensure quality and to notify the Architect of any discrepancies. Working directly with the Architect and clients broadened my understanding of office management and professionalism.

3 Primary LEED AP, Senior CAD Technician at EAC Consulting, Inc Hired as the prime LEED AP consultant for EAC. As the Senior CAD Technician I worked on improvement projects which encompassed targeted streetscape, stormwater and water supply improvements. I was responsible for drafting: Elevation calculations and Station Offsets Notes, Tables, Charts, and Area Take-offs Water Main Infrastructure Improvements Roadway Resurfacing, Rehabilitation and Repair Storm water/drainage Improvements Landscape and infrastructure calculations for cost estimation. Junior Architect at SB Architects SB Architects, an architecture firm with over 50 years in practice, has a world wide reputation for excellence in the planning and design of large-scale hotel, resort, vacation ownership, multifamily residential and mixed-use projects. As a Junior Architect at SB Architects I created working drawings and construction documents for large-scale resort / hospitality projects under the direct supervision of the Principal Architects. My duties included developing drawing sets from design to project completion. I worked with team members, consulting engineers, owners, and staff directly to accomplish project goals. Draftsman, CAD Technician at Sixto Architect Sixto Architects has over a decade of experience in architectural design, planning, project management, preparation of contract documents, and field representation for; commercial, recreational, residential, hospitality, and institutional projects. As a senior CAD Technician working under the direct supervision of Rafael Sixto (principal Architect, AIA, LEED AP) I; developed construction documents, programming and feasibility studies, created presentations, took on-site as-built measurements to create working drawings, and assisted in administrative duties. Design & Planning Consultant at Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science While working as a design and planning consultant for the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science under the supervision of Ray Alfonso I assisted in compiling data for comprehensive facilities use and feasibility studies to be used for campus planning, capital improvement and long-range development. I also provided planning services for the physical development of the campus and assisted in development and improvements of buildings and common spaces. I developed designs for the creation of a campus-wide master plan for building paint restoration and way-finding and presented these plans to the schools facilities management board.

4 Programs Bank of America, Exterior Lighting Program February 2014 to Present Members at CAL Development: Stephen Hartley, Richard Dee The Exterior Lighting Program (ELP) is part of an initiative by Bank of America to bring their branches up to State and Federal lighting requirement codes. The project scope consists of adding, replacing, or retrofitting outdated lighting fixtures with new, energy efficient, LED fixtures. As a Program Manager for CAL Development I coordinate efforts between the client, client s representatives, Engineers, Architects, Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and Superintendents. Creation of project budgets and schedules, and the assignment of staff are key to ensuring this program runs smoothly. Challenging aspects of the program include long lead times for materials (product is often ordered months before commencement of work), permitting with various municipalities, and scheduling work after bank hours of operation. As a program manager I ensure work progresses smoothly and address issues before they escalate. Bank of America, ADA Program March 2014 to Present Members at CAL Development: Stephen Hartley, Richard Dee Bank of America s ADA program seeks to rectify issues of non-compliance with the American with Disabilities Act in their existing branches. Bank of America has taken the initiative to bring these buildings into full compliance with local and federal codes in order to mitigate risk and create a safe and comfortable environment for their staff and clientele. My background in Architecture has given me extensive insight and understanding of the code requirements for this program. Chase Bank, Path of Travel Program May 2014 to Present Members at CAL Development: Stephen Hartley, Nick Caprio Chase Bank s Path of Travel Program aims to create a safe path of travel for customers with disabilities while meeting code accessibility requirements. Individual projects focus on the customer path leading from points within the bank to areas of transportation at the exterior (i.e. disabled parking spaces and public transportation). Program Management responsibilities include meeting with Branch Managers and addressing their concerns, coordinating with sub-contractors and Client representatives, creating schedules and budgets, and allocation of resources.

5 Burger King Remodels July 2013 to February 2014 Members at DTI: Stephen Hartley, Carlos Pizzaro, Carlos Cardoso As Design Tech International s Program Manager for Burger King Corporate remodels I was responsible for: Ensuring designs met Burger Kings rigorous design guidelines Coordination directly with Burger King s Corporate Office ADA compliance and certification Project surveying and site documentation Management of the design and construction document teams Interacting directly with municipalities for initial review, presentation in front of Architectural boards and project permitting. Projects The Ritz-Carlton & JW Marriott - Grande Lakes December 2007 to June 2008, Jason Anthony, Olga Maria Cano, Jacqueline Isais, Kevin P. Dunn Grande Lakes' Lakeshore Reserve designed by SB Architects is situated on 500 Acres in North Central Florida. The site offers a series of amenities provided by The Ritz Carlton & JW Marriott including; two five-story timeshare buildings, five two-story timeshare townhomes, an operations building, a spacious central clubhouse with adjacent feature pool & waterslide, as well as three smaller pools, and a signature golf course designed by Greg Norman. A team of Eight individuals from SB Architects, under the direction of Kevin Dunn, was responsible for Preliminary Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents for the project. Biscayne Point & Stillwater Neighborhood Improvement May 2009 to June 2010, Eduardo Escudero, Shari Ramirez, Michael Adeife As part of the City s Planned Progress Capital Improvement Program, comprehensive right of way improvement projects were undertaken in 13 City neighborhoods including the Biscayne Point Neighborhood. The Biscayne Point Neighborhood is bounded on the east by Tatum Waterway, and on the south, west and north by Biscayne Bay, and is comprised of three subneighborhoods entitled Biscayne Beach, Biscayne Point Island and Stillwater Drive. The Biscayne Point Neighborhood Improvement Project encompassed targeted streetscape, stormwater and water supply improvements. As the prime consultant for this project EAC was responsible for the following tasks and assignments on this project. Built under new code allowing 40 foot span without columns on both the first and second floors, the first ever in Miami Beach. Entire living space with dining, kitchen and living room is an open plan. Wedge shape lot with 75 feet of waterfront, infinity edge, pool panoramic downtown and sunset views, smart home, modern European kitchen and rooftop entertainment deck. The Dutch at The W Hotel, South Beach, FL July 2011 to December 2011, Anthony Leon, John Wyatt W Hotel, South Beach, FL - Various Projects November 2010 to December 2011, Anthony Leon, John Wyatt 220 Cypress Drive, Key Biscayne, FL March 2011 to May 2011, Anthony Leon, John Wyatt, Christian Moreno Master Plan Paint Scheme for the Rosensteil School of Marine and Atmospheric Science November 2006 to June 2007 This Master Plan for the University of Miami's Rosentsteil School of Marine & Atmospheric Science was completed in the Summer of 2004 under the direction of Raymond Alfonso, the school's director of Facilities Management. The campus required an over-haul which could be initiated quickly within a limited budget. Program requirements included basic beautification as well as way finding techniques, while following a "Floridian" design concept. A color pallet reflecting Nautical flags was chosen for buildings to aid in visibility and help visitors differentiate one structure from another. Printed screens (which could be assembled on site and taken down easily in case of Hurricanes) were employed to showcase the schools diverse work while acting as shading elements and barriers to visible mechanical scientific equipment on the buildings. 7 303 East San Marino, Miami Beach, FL House on Prospect Avenue, Coral Gables, FL BCAD Maintenance Facility Fire Suppression Pipeline October 2012 to Present, Eduardo Escudero, Shari Ramirez, Michael Adeife Batley Investments Residence, Coral Gables, Fl. December 2007 to Present, Rafael Sixto As a CAD technician I created details, attended site visits, and worked on construction documents for this new two story 5,200 s.f. residence. Human Resources Offices at Gables One Tower - University of Miami November 2007 to Present Sixto Architects provided design, construction documents and construction administration services for the University of Miami's Gables One Tower office building. The project required planning the interior space layouts as well as the selection of finishes and display shelving, the design of custom cabinetry and casework and the layout fixtures and equipment. The project involved complete demolition of existing spaces to accommodate the new layout. Riviera Park, Coral Gables, Florida. December 2007 to Present A four acre park featuring over one hundred new trees of varying specimen. The renovation includes newly refurbished walkways, new ornamental decorative posts, theme benches, toddler play area and an exercise trail with modern outdoor equipment. A centrally located 900 square foot open pavilion for outdoor entertainment and public gatherings was also incorporated in the design.

8 Master Plan for the Expansion of Courtrooms and Administrative Facilities, Miami-Dade County, Florida September 2007 to December 2007 Page5 The overall purposes of the Master Plan are: to define the 20 year space needs of the courts; to identify crucial court facility projects necessary to meet the expected space needs; to identify an appropriate implementation plan for those facilities and finally, to estimate the order of magnitude of expected costs associated with the facility requirements and implementation plan. Volunteer Experience Community Activist Design Consultant at Armbrister Park Task Force Present I serve on the Armbrister Park Task Force as their Designer and Project Coordinator. In this capacity I produce Renderings, Presentations, and Proposals for public support. I meet with government officials, parents, and private organizations to garner support for this project. Esther Armbrister is an integral community park, enjoyed by over three neighborhood schools: G.W. Carver Elementary, G.W. Carver Middle, Francis Tucker Elementary, a daycare center: St. Alban s Child Enrichment Center, various afterschool programs: Armbrister Park Afterschool Program, The Barnyard, Silver Bluff Afterschool Satellite Program, a Pop Warner Football League, and local community residents. The park is partly funded by Miami-Dade Public Schools for the use of its grounds during recess and physical education throughout school hours by Carver Elementary and Carver Middle School. The park, in its current state, is in dire need of repair. Future Architects Summer Program at University of Miami 2007 Taught the University of Miami's Summer Program for Future Architects under the direction of Gary Greenan. The participants were high school seniors interested in pursuing Architecture degrees. Studies focused on drawing, drafting, model building, and presentation. Construction Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity Volunteered in Homestead, Florida. Worked in roof framing, drywall, and various construction. Assisted the construction crew with maintenance work. Helped with job site assignments. Supported various program operations.

9 Organizations NCARB NCARB's primary function is to design tools and model procedures for jurisdictions to apply to their regulation of the path to licensure, ranging from internship guidelines to licensing examination to certification for reciprocal licensing. NCARB maintains records for its 54 jurisdictional boards, providing services to architects and interns as key stakeholders. AIA Associate Assoc. AIA credential signifies to colleagues and potential employers that individuals adhere to a Professional code of ethics and share a common goal to build better places for people to live, work, and play.
