1 GeoWarehouse Access Added to Public Records On March 4, 2015, TREB s Public Records platform will be enhanced to provide access to GeoWarehouse, including property ownership and land registry information. GeoWarehouse will be linked to searches you undertake in Public Records. In addition, you will also be able to independently search GeoWarehouse using name, address, PIN, Instrument/Plan and Lot & Concession. You will be able to access a maximum of 150 GeoWarehouse reports per year. However, within GeoWarehouse, you will be able to perform unlimited searches, which will not count against your 150 reports per year allowance, so long as you do not access a report on a specific property. It is important to note that access to the Property Assessment Notice (PAN) on behalf of the property owner is no longer available. However, if your clients want to access their Property Assessment Notice, you can direct them to MPAC s website, where they can register to access their PAN online. How to Access GeoWarehouse from Public Records To access GeoWarehouse, click Public Records under the LINKS menu in the Stratus Info Centre. Click to open the Public Records application. Once the Public Records application opens, you will see the GeoWarehouse button ( two locations: ) in 1. Below the title bar of the Property Detail ViewPort, and 2. In the Tool Panel under the search tools.

2 Click to display the GeoWarehouse Property Details report for the active property. This will Click to do an independent search of GeoWarehouse Accessing GeoWarehouse from the Property Detail ViewPort Once you have searched a specific property in Public Records, key information is displayed in the Property Detail ViewPort on the Property tab. If you are looking for additional ownership and land registry information, you can click the Geowarehouse button under the title bar of the Property Detail ViewPort. A new browser tab opens displaying a GeoWarehouse report for the property in question. IMPORTANT: The GeoWarehouse report that opens will count against your annual allowance of 150 The first time you access GeoWarehouse from Public Records, you will have to read and accept the Terms of Use. You have to abide by these Terms of Use, including the fact that you cannot use information from GeoWarehouse for marketing to named individuals.

3 Click to display the GeoWarehouse Property Details report for the active property. From there you will be able to search by address, address range, name, PIN, instrument/plan and lot & concession. You can conduct an unlimited number of searches and view the initial search results displayed as thumbnails. IMPORTANT: Clicking on one of the available reports for a property, for example Property Details or Enhanced Report, will

REMEMBER: Accessing these reports will GeoWarehouse Will Also be Available in Public Records (Mobile) GeoWarehouse will also be accessible from Public Records (Mobile). Similar to the options discussed above, there will be two access points. They are: 1. A link that will take you directly to the Property Details report for a specific property. Pressing this link will count against your allowance of 150 reports per year. 2. A link that will take you to the standard GeoWarehouse search screen. Don t Forget About Your Other Public Records Tools While the addition of GeoWarehouse access to Public Records is an important enhancement, don t forget that information is already available in Public Records, including:

5 Sales history (last sale price and date from Land Registry and TorontoMLS sales history for many properties); Detailed demographics; Ability to search and display comparable properties; and Ability to produce a comprehensive Property Detail Report.
