1 Guide of Query of Real Property Price Statistics Query of Real Property Price Statistics has been created in order to provide the public information on real property transactions. 1. Type of publication. Overall statistics (üldine statistika) includes information on all transactions for transfer of real property (sales, exchanges, gifts, etc), possibility to choose only sales; Price statistics (hinnastatistika) includes information about average transaction prices, only information on sales is included. 2. Type of report In overall statistics the following reports can be selected: Transactions by type of transaction (Tehingud tehinguliikide kaupa) sales (ostmüük), gifts (kinkimine), exchange (vahetus), other (muu tehing); Transactions by sellers (Tehingud müüjate järgi) all transactions by type of the seller, e.g. physical person (eraisik), legal person (eraõiguslik juriidiline), municipality (munitsipaal), state (riik), foreigner (välismaalane), several sellers (mitu); Transactions by buyers (Tehingud ostjate järgi) similar report like Transactions by sellers; Transactions of immovables by the purpose of use (Kinnisasja tehingud sihtotstarvete järgi) transactions by registered purpose of use, e.g. residential land (elamumaa), profit yielding land (maatulundusmaa), commercial land (ärimaa), industrial land (tootmismaa), mixed land - immovable has several purposes of use, none of the purposes being 100% (segamaa), undefined land - no data available concerning the purpose of use (määramata maa), other (muu). Only immovables are included; Transactions of immovables by part of real property report shows how many transactions were performed with whole immovables (kogu kinnistu) and parts of immovables (kinnistu osa); Transactions per month (Tehingud kuude lõikes) from January (jaanuar) to December (detsember); Transactions by type of real property (Tehingud objekti liigi järgi) all transactions by type of property transactions wih immovables (Kinnisasja tehingud), transactions with apartments (Korteriomandi tehingud) and transactions with the right of superficies including right of superficies in apartments (Hoonestusõiguse tehingud). Transactions by counties (Tehingud maakondade kaupa). In price statistics the following reports can be selected: Sales of forest land (Metsamaa tehingud) - the analysis of forest land includes properties with the total area of at least 2 ha, in which the percentage of other types of use (beside forest land) is less than 10; Sales of arable land (Haritava maa tehingud) - the analysis of arable land includes properties with the total area of at least 2 ha, in which the percentage of other types of use (beside arable land) is less than 10; Sales of immovables with buildings (Hoonestatud maa tehingud) shows reports by the purpose of use. For definitions of purposes of use in Estonian see above. 1

2 Sales of immovables without buildings (Hoonestamata maa tehingud) similar report like Sales of immovables with buildings; Sales of apartments (Korteriomandi tehingud) report can be selected starting from July Location All users can choose a region for which the report will be generated, e.g. county (maakond), municipality (omavalitsus) and village/part of town (küla/linnaosa). At least county must be selected in order to generate the report. For a report of several regions Detailed search for several regions (Täpsem otsing mitme piirkonna kohta) must be checked and users can choose from the following: All municipalities (Kõik omavalitsused); All municipalities except towns (Kõik omavalitsused v.a linnad) transactions in towns are excluded; Towns (Linnad) transactions in towns; Region (piirkond) different regions can be selected e.g Estonia (Eesti), Estonia without Tallinn (Eesti ilma Tallinnata), Northern Estonia (Põhja-Eesti), Central Estonia (Kesk-Eesti), North-Eastern Estonia (Kirde-Eesti), Western Estonia (Lääne-Eesti), Southern Estonia (Lõuna-Eesti), All counties (Kõik maakonnad), All counties except towns (Kõik maakonnad v.a linnad). 4. Period All users can choose suitable time period by entering it manually or by using shortcuts. For definitions of shortcuts in English and Estonian see the enclosed Figure 1. For a report of several periods shortcut Several periods (mitu ajavahemikku) must be checked and thereafter more than one year/quarter can be selected. 2
