1 NOTICE FOR SALE OF TAX CERTIFICATES DUE TO DELINQUENT TAXES ON REAL ESTATE IN STONE COUNTY, MISSOURI PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE FOR SALE OF TAX CERTIFICATES DUE TO DELINQUENT TAXES ON REAL ESTATE IN STONE COUNTY, MISSOURI Tax Sale List Updated Monday, 2nd PUBLICATION 2012 STONE COUNTY TAX SALE August 20th at 10:00 a.m. The following is a list of lands and lots in Stone County, Missouri, on which tax certificates will be offered for sale at the North door of the Courthouse in Galena, Missouri beginning on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. and continuing from day to day thereafter, until all tracts are offered according to the provisions of the laws of Missouri. The lands and lots are to be offered for sale under the descriptions as listed. Certificates will be issued covering interest and charges thereon at the time of sale. The purchaser must pay 50 cents for sale certificate, a 25 cent clerk fee, a $24 recorder of deed fee, and the publication costs ($50 per parcel for each year property has been offered in the tax sale). Certificates will be issued covering as much of said lands and lots as is necessary to discharge the total taxes, interest and charges thereon at the time of sale.
