2 Isola De Pinedo Where it all started The Island de Pinedo lays on the Po, in the municipality of Caorso. It is part of the natural Oasi De Pinedo, a wildlife area which also includes a large area of scrub along the river, where many rare species of migrant birds come to nest. Following several invasive producers such as the removal of vegetation, deforestation and invasive agricolture shares, the habitat of these rare species has been put at risk by forcing some birds to migrate to other locations - mostly urban. Migrant Garden is inspired by the reflection on the conditions of these animals and aims to give it a wide space and visibility in the cultural debate. 2 3

4 A global issue 40 architects in the garden Migrant Garden involves 40 architects and designers. The same kit is sent to all of them, containing two moulds - 24 x 24 x 24 cm - made of an innovative TEMPORARY INSTALLATION material by Acell Tech, a company specialised in cladding for buildings and military use. 40 bird nests are produced.
