The work will result in the permanent impact to: 30,957 square feet of forested nontidal wetlands; 31,654 square feet of forested isolated nontidal wetland; 69,213 square feet of nontidal wetland buffer; 389 linear feet (4,036 square feet) of unnamed tributaries to Piscataway Creek, a Use I waterway; and 51,428 square feet of the 100-year floodplain including 3,840 square feet of fill in the floodplain. The work will also result in the temporary impacts to: 13,928 square feet of forested nontidal wetlands; 9,777 square feet of nontidal wetland buffer; 30 linear feet (600 square feet) of unnamed tributaries to Piscataway Creek; and, 37,739 square feet of the 100- year floodplain. Stream restoration, which is required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for stream mitigation, will result in approximately 250 linear feet of impact to a degraded on-site tributary to Piscataway Creek. Approximately 12,000 square feet of nontidal wetland are proposed to be created in association with the stream mitigation. Mitigation for unavoidable permanent nontidal wetland impacts is proposed onsite through nontidal wetland creation and enhancement. The site is located on the west side of Frank Tippett Road, 1,000 feet south of its intersection with Rosaryville Road in Cheltenham.
