ERA salespersons were out in full force at the fair, engaging participants who were keen on embarking on a real estate career with the largest real estate agency in Singapore. The event, held for Singaporeans, permanent residents and foreigners holding valid work or student passes, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre had a healthy turnout of over 5,000 visitors. 2 July 05 Lincoln Choo Feature in CEA Newsletter Lincoln Choo, a Division Director, was featured in the May/June issue of the CEA newsletter, CEAnergy for excellent service rendered to his client. Lincoln had been engaged by Inderjit to lease out the HDB flat he co-owned with his mother. The high level of professionalism demonstrated by Lincoln prompted Inderjit to compliment him to CEA. He mentioned that Lincoln displayed commitment and zest and that he had profound knowledge of the legislation, as well as documentary requirements. Inderjit further added My family and I did not have second thoughts because we knew our property was in safe hands. Source: Race to Japan - ERA Japan Business Conference 9 June 06 - The winners of ERA s Race to Japan challenge, Roy Chong, Ivan Lee, and Roy Ong, together with Jack Chua, Chief Executive Officer of ERA, flew to attend the ERA Japan business conference. The Race to Japan challenge rewarded the top three salespersons, as well as, top recruiter for the period of 5 Feb to May. They were treated to first class return tickets, and accommodation to attend the conference. It was a unique opportunity for cultural exchange between salespersons in Japan and Singapore. Our ERA Singapore teammates were impressed by ERA Japan, and learnt valuable lessons on how to improve their own businesses.

3 July 05 newswatch The Business Times (BT) ran two stories about ERA, with regards to expansion within Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. Charlie Young, President and Chief Executive of ERA Franchise LLC, expressed his vision for further, aggressive expansion within the Asia-Pacific region. He shared with BT that ERA Asia-Pacific has the potential to more than double our presence in the market from eight locations to 8. These markets include countries such as, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, and Vietnam, to name a few. Separately, BT spoke to Jack Chua, Chief Executive Officer of ERA, with regards to his plans for ERA in Singapore. As the largest real estate agency in Singapore, Jack shared the next milestone for the company would be to hit 0,000 salespersons- the company currently has over 6,000 salespersons. He shared that ERA has managed to consolidate its position in the market thanks to the company s strong training culture, and ability to read the market. This has ensured that ERA salespersons are well-prepared for any market conditions. ERA Division Level Open House ERA s Top Management, together with salespersons from Prime Group were out in full force for this open house. Attendees were treated to presentations from our Chief Operating Officers, Marcus Chu and Doris Ong, as well as, Key Executive Officer, Eugene Lim. The attendees learnt about the OneERA culture of success, our strength in Project Marketing, as well as, comprehensive research from Marcus, Doris and Eugene respectively. July 0, 05 - ERA, together with Prime Group held an open house at MBSQ. The event was a success as nearly 00 co-broke agents and aspiring salespersons turned up, eager to learn more about furthering a career in real estate.

4 July 05 recognises our Top Salesperson for the month of July Kavin Kuah What made you decide to be a part of the real estate industry? I chose to be a real estate professional, as the industry has no income ceiling- the only limit to your income is the ones that you create. What this means to me is that, as long as I am willing to put in 00% into my work, the sky is the limit for my income. Why did you choose ERA? As ERA is the largest, most reputable and established real estate agency in Singapore. What is your advice to aspiring salespersons? The most important advice is to be happy. In order to succeed, you have to love this business. In addition to this, have ambition, work hard and smart. Lastly, find the right mentor and have faith in him. Once you have all these factors, never look back on your decision to embark on this real estate journey, and you will be successful. What are some of the strategies you implement in your dealings with home buyers? Always think of the client, with a client comes first mind-set, you will naturally gain the trust of your buyers and sellers. Once they trust you, the rest of the transaction will be a lot easier. Are there any difficulties you face along the way, and how do you overcome them? The road to success is never smooth. Every real estate salesperson will have their unique set of difficulties. The right mentality and strong willpower to overcome these difficulties will ensure your success. For example, when I was a new agent, I did not have much capital for marketing activities. Thus, I decided to rely primarily on door knocking as my source of leads. However, even though this is one of the toughest ways of getting leads, it is also the lowest cost and most rewarding method of prospecting.
