27 Lessons to date Generally Very difficult environment for all Procurement imperfect system but the only one Single point MDDTs Attitude and abilities vary / Flexibility Fee levels / payments / Resource availability Scope / Liability distribution within the team Control is the key issue

28 Future Procurements Appropriate Fee Levels.. Quality of service / talent More direct appointments (control) Greater administration for client. But perhaps worth it? Multi Party design frameworks for Engineers (C&S / M&E / ICT / etc.) Architects (plus specialties & PM) Cost / QS Single Party Frameworks for consistent advisory services
