Her duties encompass all aspects of archaeological investigation. These responsibilities include fieldwork, laboratory analysis, as well as report preparation and completion. In addition, Ms. Gibson performs various business development tasks for the Colorado office. Since 2002, Ms. Gibson has participated in various field investigations throughout the western United States, including projects in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Arizona, in addition to a project in Mexico. These archaeological projects included pre-contact Native American as well as Historic Euro-American sites and components. Her primary research focus is ceramic analysis and reconstruction of prehistoric pottery in Colorado and Wyoming. She began her ceramic career in New Mexico and has since expanded her expertise to the High Plains and Great Basin. She has authored reports in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and New Mexico. She has also presented papers and posters at numerous professional meetings. She is permitted in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
