2 Explanatory Notes The following list contains the structures that are being recommended for inclusion in the Record of Protected Structures for Navan under Section 51 of the Planning and Development Act The Draft Record of Protected Structures consists of a table, the rows relate to individual structures that are being proposed for inclusion in the Record of Protected Structures and the four columns correspond to various fields of information relating to each structure, outlined below. The Map Ref. is unique to each structure and corresponds with the accompanying Built Heritage Conservation Map. The Address gives the location of the structure within the survey area usually by street name or postal address whilst the Use relates to the current use of the building, usually ground floor use only. The gives a brief description of the structure, together with an approximate date of construction. The Rating & are a shorthand appraisal system outlines the merits of a particular structure.
