3 London s future We are advising investors, developers, occupiers and landowners on some of the capital s leading schemes across all aspects of commercial property advice. We are helping to thread Crossrail into the central London boroughs and are advising developers and investors how to harness the uplift in value along the route. Working with London s policy teams, such as the Greater London Authority, Westminster City Council, the Mayors office as well as the promoters of London such as the City Corporation, London & Partners, London First, the New West End Company and the CBI, we are helping to shape and evolve the future policies for London. gva.co.uk/london

White Tower investment portfolio GVA acted for The Carlyle Group on the purchase of a portfolio of six buildings in the City of London and Chiswick with a total value of 671 million. City Investment: Project coordination, full financial analysis, property inspections, client liaison, liaison with the client s debt providers, presentations/ reporting. City Agency: Letting/rental advice and refurbishment specification. City Lease Consultancy: Rent review advice and analysis. National Investment and National Agency: Investment advice and rental advice on Chiswick. Building Consultancy: Pre-bid desktop analysis for refurbishment costs, full building surveys and detailed costings. GVA Second London Wall: Development advice relating to Ludgate House and Sampson House. Planning: Advice relating to the mixed-use redevelopments at Ludgate House and Sampson House. GVA Schatunowski Brooks: Rights of light advice relating to redevelopments. Property Management: Full due diligence on all property management issues.

5 Canning Town London Borough of Newham and Bouygues Development For the final detailed submission to London Borough of Newham, GVA was responsible for agency and development advice to inform the commercial elements of the masterplan. By identifying demand from core destination operators including foodstores, hotels, cinemas, retail and leisure operators we were able to inform the design of the masterplan. The total commercial element will deliver in the region of 60,000 m² of new space to Canning Town of which up to 40,000 m² will be retail and leisure. GVA has since been reappointed to provide ongoing agency, development and investment advice. Phase 1 incorporates a major food store and residential which are due on site in Agency: Letting and sales advice. Development consultancy: Viability and assessment study. Investment: Forward funding advice. 272 High Holborn 272 High Holborn provides 78,400 sq ft (7,280 sq m) offices and retail set over lower ground, ground and nine upper levels. The existing building was originally constructed around The ground level of High Holborn provides retail units which have storage provision at basement level. The redevelopment of the building, carried out by GVA, provided a double height reception hall, featuring a high level stainless steel bridge, glass panelling and stone walls. By offering a fully integrated in-house service, this complex and challenging project ran seamlessly throughout. There were no time delays and the project was delivered to the highest level. GVA are the retained advisers and have worked closely on the building providing planning, project management and agency advice.
