1 NOTICE OF OPENING AND CLOSING OF A CONSTRUCTION SITE OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE LAW The Québec Act respecting occupational health and safety and its relates regulations contain the following obligations governing the opening and closing of a : 1. The principal must send the CNESST a written notice of opening of a at least 10 days before begins. However, in the case of a major (*), the notice must be sent at least 180 days before begins. 2.
