Description (cont'd): features include south-side window opening with paired windows; pointed-arch upper sashes under a single pointed archway; tower with pyramidal roof with wood shingles; imbricated shingle siding on second level of tower; small addition at southeast corner. Outbuildings include dining hall built In 1968 to east of church. #12. Significance (cont'd): of the very few pre-1935 structures in Georgetown's historic black neighborhoods. Extremely important to black community. Church building is a good example of Gothic Revival architecture.
