Significance ARCHITECTURE; The Grace Episcopal Church was organized in 1874 and its first chapel was eoved froe Port Lavaca. The present -facility with Gothic Revival detailing, was built in 1889 and dedicated the following year. 13. Outbuildings: one-story education annex, built about 1930, stands behind sanctuary and features similar detailing. Significance continued: This building is one of Cuero's most noteworthy religious buildings and is a rare local illustration of the Gothic Revival style. The education wing, built about 1930, displays Gothic Revival detailing and is considered a contributing element to the property's overall historic character.
