A file of additional Beattie letters: (a) 11 items , published in the remaining portion of vol. 1 (of which the MS is missing); (b) various letters, , 1789, 1796, n.d. which do not appear to have been included in the published Life; (c) a few fragments of notes and drafts by Forbes, which have not yet been adequately placed in the Life. 92.
