5 Ms Boxes 4-7 Photographs, of the Arthur Harvey Family, and the immediate family of Jane Grist Harvey, his wife. The format of most is either carte de visite or carte de cabinet. About 140 photographs from about 40 photographic studios are in the collection: 25 of them are in Hamilton, Montreal, ottawa, Quebec and Toronto and include 26 from Topley, 3 from Notman and 4 from Notman & Fraser, 15 from Simpson Bros., 4 from Stanton and 7 from Eldridge Stanton, 5 from Archambault & McCorkindale, and 6 from Livernois. Non-family photographs (cartes de visite) of Sir Alexander Galt, Bishop Mountain, W.H. Pope, each of whom was involved with Arthur Harvey's family, are here. Two albums of which 1 has 7 decorated pages contained some of the photographs. 5
