A prolific author, he has written many novels short stories, poems and essays. ll_berry David Bohm ( ) was an American scientist (born in UK) described as one of the most significant theoretical physicists of the 20 th century. He contributed innovative and unorthodox ideas to quantum theory, neuropsychology and the philosophy of mind. He was also known for his boyish good looks, which were said to have prompted the Irish poet W. B. Yeats to describe him as "the handsomest young man in England". He is known for his innovative thinking in the fields of urban planning and sociology. Hippocrates (about 460 to 370 BC) was a Greek physician of the Age of Pericles. Often referred to as the Father of Western Medicine and best known for the Hippocratic Oath, still in use in some universities. It is not know how much attached to his name was actually his own work or that of others in the school he founded. Ferdinand Hodler ( ) was one of the best-known Swiss painters of the 19 th century. He travelled across Europe to learn different styles of painting through studying the works of the masters.
