The gates j now open and close more smoothly and are much quieter. No more gate codes. There will no longer be general gate codes set up for community access. The card reader will become unusable at some point. We'll give you advance notice when the time comes. That means everyone will need to use a remote for entry. ANNUAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION TIME It's that time of year again already! There is one position open on the Board of Directors. We have enclosed a Candidate Information Form with this newsletter. If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors, please complete the form and return it to Community Management Group before Friday, March 30, 2012, 5 p.m.
2 STREET PARKING REMINDERS Please take a moment to review the Street Parking Rules for the Community. Street Parking. No automobile or other motor vehicles shall be parked in the Community Common Area or in any street within the Community. Any vehicles parked in the street are subject to tagging and towing at owner's expense. Guest Parking. Common area/guest parking spaces are to be used for guest parking only, not for an owner's excess vehicles. Any vehicles parked in the guest parking area more than forty-eight (48) hours maybe tagged and towed at owner's expense. If an owner or guest needs to utilize the guest parking space for a period greater than fortyeight (48) hours, written permission must be obtained from the Association through Community Management Group. Oversized Vehicles. Oversized vehicles including, but not limited to, commercial-type vehicles, recreational vehicles, inoperable vehicles, mobile homes, trailers, boats or any other similar vehicle or vehicular equipment deemed to be a nuisance by the Board are not permitted in the community. These types of vehicles must be stored off the premises. Vehicle Registration. Any vehicle parked anywhere in the DSRC confines without proper vehicle registration is subject to a violation of the DSRC Rules & Regulations and can be tagged and/or towed.? Don't Give Access to Strangers! : The Board would also like to remind everyone that the community's amenities are for Desert Shores Racquet Club resident use only. ~ Please do not prop open the pool, clubhouse or pedestrian gates or open these access points for anyone that does not have a key.. ~ Non-residents have been seen wandering the community and using the amenities. Also, any :' ~. ~ gue~t must be accompanied by the resident in order to use the facilities. We need your help to \, protect the common areas and ensure that ONLY DSRC residents are using our amenities!. Racquet Club Rules ~... eminder..,.... No food or drink. There is no food or drink allowed in the weight room. We have had several spills of some kind of white substance on the carpet. This has caused the HOA to spend ' money cleaning the carpet only to have it happen again. Please abide by the posted sign of no food or drink. No pets. There are no pets ' allowed in the Racquet Club. Management has received several complaints of residents bringing their pet(s) with them while they are working out or playing racquet ball. Fob access. Access to the Racquet Club is with a key fob. The door by the weight room is no longer accessible. Bids are in process to remove the door completely or to make it an emergency exit only door. This being said, if you only have a key to gain entry to the Racquet Club, you will need to purchase a key fob. The fobs are $20.00 and are available at c;.ommunity Management Group. The candidate receiving the most votes will be elected for a 2-year term.
