To this end, the developer has installed new natural gas boilers, an air handling unit, variable frequency drives on heating pumps and a control air compressor station. By implementing these measures, Touchstone s carbon footprint has been reduced by 232 tonnes of CO2 per year, a reduction of 23.7% which has an offset equivalent to planting 36 acres of indigenous pine trees.
