Mef ref: 131 H10 ISD Welcome Note 02 September 2017 Thank you to all those who have entered Round 3 for the ISD Series 2017, we are looking forward to hosting you again at Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre. Remember that to be in the running for ISD Series placings for 2017 you must compete at a minimum of 3 ISD events at Ayr Hill during the year (same horse/rider combination). Our draw is now available at Please re check your times, rider number and rings on the night prior in case of late changes. Please bring your chairs and enjoy the spectator areas around each arena. Catering will be available from approximately 8.00am til 3.30pm. Directions Thompsons Road is now open but it is still dirt for part of the way and quite rough. We advise to access Soldiers Road via O Shea Road or Grices Road, both of which are accessed from Berwick-Clyde Road. Arriving and Parking - Please park in the Float parking paddocks on the far side of the Indoor, or along the bank which runs alongside the polo fields. There are yards available within the float parking paddocks and gates are to be kept shut to keep all horses safely confined. Unload carefully, horses getting on and off floats quickly can spook horses in and around the arenas so keep a safe distance. Please look at the map of the venue below to help you with your parking and ring locations. Ring locations and Warm up: Preparatory and Preliminary Primary Ring 1 Grass Arena / Ring 2 Grass Arena (warm up on grass area) Preliminary Intermediate and Preliminary Senior Ring 3 East Sand arena / Ring 4 North Sand arena (warm up on Grass area or West Sand arena behind admin building limited warm up for 1 horse before entering test in North Sand 4) Novice Intermediate, Novice Primary, Novice Senior, Elementary, Medium and Advanced Ring 2 East Sand arena / Ring 1 Indoor (warm up on West sand arena behind admin building). Please be mindful of riders preparing to enter arenas and do not cross in their path or interfere with their entry in any way, also remember to keep a good distance from arenas when warming up. Check In Required Please come and check in at the Secretary s office at least 30mins prior to your ride time and let us know you have arrived safely, find out any last minute changes and of course we are happy to answer any queries. Be prepared to ride your tests early and we encourage you to meet the requests of our stewards gracefully. 2 Gear Check - Schools are responsible for their students gear check. Random spot gear checks will occur on the day. Manure and rubbish - Please remove all of your horses manure from yards and parking areas prior to leaving, there are manure deposit areas in both float parking areas. Please place all your rubbish in the bins provided or take it home with you. Scoring - We will endeavour to be prompt with the scores and once the final scores are posted presentations will be 30mins after. Any appeals need to be lodged in writing within that 30min time frame, with $50. Collecting Dressage Tests - These will be available for collection after full results have been posted for your section.
