EEC is counted on to provide uncomparable service in a technically competent, quality, effective and proactive manner and always follows through. T e n a n t Line-Up EEC has the privilege of being the Prime Consultant to the Florida Department of Transportation s Fifth District for multiple contracts to include the CEI 112 grouping which entailed providing all of support services required for the stimulus projects throughout Central Florida, CEI 130 grouping which consists of providing the FDOT Orlando and Oviedo Operations offices with inspection staff, as well as a Districtwide Materials & Research contract. Elipsis also has a continuing services contract with the City of Winter Garden for Materials Testing and Geotechnical services. EEC has had the privilege to work on some of Central Florida s largest history making projects that include Sunrail, Wekiva Parkway, and I-4 Ultimate, which are laying the foundation for continued growth in this area. EEC also had the privilege of working on the Central Florida Intermodal Logistics Center facility in Winter Haven, which serves as a centralized hub for transportation, logistics, and distribution serving Orlando, Tampa, and South Florida. This 318 acre intermodal terminal is surrounded by 930 acres and features five 3,000 foot loading tracks and two 10,000 foot arrival and departure tracks. FDOT District 5 CEI 112 This contract was the direct result of the American Recovery Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The projects under this contract required hybrid CEI (Construction Engineering Inspection) services. EEC s team is responsible for providing CEI Inspection, CEI Support, CEI Geotechnical Services, Materials Lab Testing, Asphalt Plant Inspection and QA Inspection for LAP projects. The Scope of Work includes CEI and Geotechnical and Materials and Testing. Andersen Beachline Expressway) to Innovation Way in east Orange County on Tuesday, July 11, following morning rush hour. This toll ramp will take the place of the old International Corporate Park Boulevard toll ramp (Exit 20), which closed the same day. The new ramp is part of the SR 528/Innovation Way Interchange project. Once open, this new ramp will allow drivers to exit westbound SR 528 to Innovation Way, where they can either take a left and go over a brand new overpass bridge to Sunbridge Parkway, then connect drivers to Aerospace Parkway or International Corporate Park Boulevard; or they can take a right on Innovation Way, which leads to Alafaya Trail. This $62.5 million project began in July 2016 and is expected to be complete early next year.
