2 Auctioneers Foreword Bletsoes have kindly been instructed to conduct a complete dispersal sale on behalf of J Sawbridge & Son. All lots come highly recommended and the sale is worthy of buyer attention. There are no reserves on any lot in the sale and all will be sold to the highest bidder. Location and Directions to the Sale Please see map at rear of catalogue. To the Sale signs will displayed on the day of sale. Refreshments Light, hot and cold refreshments will be available. Viewing Viewing on morning of sale only from 9.00am, or by strict appointment with the Auctioneers. VAT & Buyers Premium VAT will be payable on all lots, with the exception of the hay and straw, in addition to the hammer price at the current standard rate payable of 20%, unless otherwise stated at the time of auction. VAT registration number There is NO Buyers Premium. Removal of Lots All lots must be cleared by no later than Friday 28 th September. Registration of Bidders The Auctioneers request all willing purchasers to obtain a buyers number from the sale office prior to the commencement of the sale. Failure to obtain a buyer s bid number may result in the Auctioneer refusing to accept your bid. If you have traded with Bletsoes in the past and have a permanent bidding number, please use this number. Auctioneer in Charge Shaun Barron can be contacted regarding the sale. All persons entering the site do so at their own risk. All vehicles parked at, or entering the sale site, are at their owner s risk. Conditions of Sale Please see the back page of this catalogue for full details of our conditions of sale. Security & Loading of Lots A security check will be made as you leave the sale site. Please be ready to show the staff your receipted account. On the fall of the hammer, all lots become the responsibility of the purchaser. Please note the Auctioneers reserve the right to withhold purchases until cheques are cleared. A loading machine will be available until 5pm on the day of the sale and from 9am to midday on Saturday 22 nd September. After this time purchasers will be required to make their own arrangements at their own cost. All lots must be cleared by Friday 28 th September. After Saturday 22 nd September Arrangements must be made to collect with Shaun Barron Additional Lots Further items are invited for inclusion in the sale, but strictly by prior arrangement with the Auctioneers. Order of Sale The sale will commence at 11am with small lots, moving through to the livestock equipment and finishing with the implements, trailers and tractors. All additional lots to be sold after the dispersal sale.

11 CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. The highest bidder to be the purchaser (but the Auctioneers reserve the right of refusing any bid) and if any dispute arises at the last bid, the Auctioneers may name the purchaser or put the Lot up for sale again at the Auctioneers discretion. The Auctioneers to fix the rate of bidding. 2. All prospective purchasers are to make themselves known to the Auctioneers prior to the time of sale, give their full name, trading name, address and contact details. 3. All prospective purchasers not known to the Auctioneers and who wish to pay by cheque must contact the Auctioneers prior to the sale day to make arrangements and provide two references and a bankers reference. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, bankers draft or a debit card. All purchases to be paid for upon the fall of the hammer and on the day of sale. No purchases over 500 will be released until funds are cleared. Please Note: Cash transactions over 10,000 cannot be accepted according to Government. 4. VAT will be payable on all lots in addition to the hammer price at the current standard rate payable unless otherwise stated. 5. Neither the vendors nor the Auctioneers make any warranty regarding engine hours or vehicle mileages. 6. All descriptions, either written or verbal, are for guidance purposes only. The Auctioneers or Vendors will not be responsible for the accuracy of any such description. All lots are sold with all faults and errors of description. Purchasers must satisfy themselves prior to the sale of a lot, as to the condition of each lot and should exercise and rely on their own judgement as to whether the lot accords with its description. 7. Prospective purchasers should be aware that from time to time lots are withdrawn and other lots added. Please contact the Auctioneers prior to the sale to ensure that any particular item of machinery is included in the sale. 8. It is the purchasers own responsibility to ensure all plant machinery and/or equipment complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 before the purchased items are used in any place of work. 9. The Auctioneer, as agent for the vendor, reserves the right to bid up to the reserve price where set (if any) on all lots. 10. At the fall of the hammer, the Purchaser will take full responsibility for the lot. The lot may not be removed from the sale premises before payment is made in full. All lots must be paid for on the day of the sale. 11. No person will be allowed to remove any lot(s) without the printed pass to do so. Lots must be cleared within 7 days of sale. 12. Failure on behalf of the Purchaser to pay for any Lot (s) will result in a re-sale. Any deficit or costs incurred will be the responsibility of the Original Purchaser. 13. The Vendors and the Auctioneers, as the Vendor's Agent, retain all title in any lots until all purchase monies have been paid in full. Outstanding monies will be charged interest at an interest rate of 4% above the bank base lending rate. 14. In all cases of transfer, the Original Purchaser shall be responsible for purchase money. 15. The Auctioneers will be pleased to take written commission bids prior to the sale. Forms are available on request. 16. The Sale of Goods by Auction will apply, a copy of which will be displayed on the morning of the sale. All prospective purchasers should ensure they have read and understood those Conditions. The act of bidding will be taken as acceptance of them.
