5 Broker Participation Form Terms & Conditions (This form must be submitted 24 hours prior to the auction.) Thank you for participating in our real estate auction. Please read carefully the following information as well as the example given. Voorheis Auction & Realty must receive this affidavit of registration for bidder and broker/ salesperson at least 24 hours prior to the auction. Commissions paid to the participating broker accordingly: A commission will be paid to the Broker representing the successful purchaser at settlement at a rate of four per cent of your client s opening bid and an additional two per cent of the difference between the opening bid and final accepted high bid. For example: If you and your client agree to give an opening bid of $100,000 and the property sold to your client for a high bid of $150,000, the broker would receive 4% of the $100,000 ($4,000) and 2% of $50,000 ($1,000) for a total co-op fee of $5, To qualify, the Broker or Salesperson must: 1. Register bidder by mail or fax with Voorheis Auction & Realty at least 48 hours prior to start of the auction. 2. The Broker must provide an opening bid on the property. The opening bid is $. 3.
